g13webb
Are you starman's brother or alto ego in Norfolk? All clubs in sport yet along just speedway have fallouts, not everyone sings from the same hymn sheet & far too many egos are involved. The way you keep harping on about this appears to suggest that you do have an issue with Swindon. Probably dates back from the time that we wiped the floor with you at your place & Charlie Gedde broke the track record! Wrong again.... I'm not Starman's brother, and no I don't have a alto ego, or any other problems with Swindon. Over the years, have been to some really good meetings there. I just like things to be right. Can't abide cheats or deceptions in any shape or form. Would rather lose with credit than cheat and win....... That meeting, If you go back long enough, you'll always find results that really pleases you. I'm old enough to remember that meeting when Gedde broke the track record. But I can also remember times when we done the Robins as well, probably its what makes this sport what it is. I can remember the track record when it was 73sec........ and Barry Briggs lowered it to 72.4, that was against Swindon as well. Seasonal greetings to you all and a Prosperous New Year....... PS; Happiness use to be 40 - 38

However, Swindon are not cheats, they had money problems due to poor attendances. That is not deliberate cheating! BluPanther
Dakota North & Doyley both have a history of falling out with teams so nothing really to worry about there. Yes we all know there were big problems when a certain promotor was at Swindon but all money was paid on time last season. Why should the club defend themselves against riders who are no longer here?. Maybe you could tell me which teams North has fallen out with in the past. Here is Dak with his 2013 team man of the year award wearing a Pirates cap... Edited December 30, 2014 by blupanther
orion
Maybe you could tell me which teams North has fallen out with in the past ? Be quicker to name who he's not fallen out with . North always been trouble on and off the track .
Crazy robin
Swindon do have a reputation for not paying their riders though. Incorrect, they did before last season have a history in a certain promotors time of not paying including owing Leigh Adams money but they didn't before then. Best have your facts correct before posting.
SCB
My bruv in Adelaide was at the South Australian Champs yesterday chatting to North Dakota and Doyley(the winner), both said wouldn't ride for The Robins after fall-outs with Emperor Rosco. Dak North the man whos career to date reads 2010 - Newcastle 2011 - Somerset 2012 - Ipswich 2013 - Peterborough (and Glasgow) 2014 - Swindon 2015 - Poole He's collected more clubs in 6 seasons than most riders do in a 20 year career. Ask yourself why!

Ask yourself why! To be fair, he would still be at Boro if they had not dropped down a division, as Frosty had a great relationship with Dak.. hagonshocker
At the very least, he would certainly have deserved the hairdryer treatment for his pathetic show in the p/o semi's. didn't look interested. Although it has to be said, he wasn't alone when push came to shove in those meetings. Are you really a Swindon supporter, you seem to love having a dig at our promotion & praising up Poole. When the spectators stay away in numbers, as they have done in the past few seasons, any club would struggle with payments. You would think that we were bottom of the league at times, when you looked at the attendance. The football club have been having the same problem in a season when some of the best football in many a year is to be seen at the County Ground. It seems that too many people are willing to part with their money to Sky & stay at home in the warm. Was wondering the same thing....we all have a moan when feel needed or justified but this guy...... Mate, I've no axe to grind with Swindon, and relate only to what I hear. It wasn't long ago that Hans Andersen was in the news for all the wrong reasons, apparently withholding his services because of payment issues with Swindon. .. Makes one think doesn't it....... It cant all be wrong, especially when you don't hear much defence coming from your club. Probably Dakota North is not everyone's cup of tea, but he sure was Swindon's saviour last year... Like I say!!!!! when there's smoke, there is usually a fire of some description........ ????? Yeah well i suggest you dont spend your life relying on hearsay or more probably total bull**** ...saviour?....lmao he's not the Messiah..just a naughty boy....and as for Hans and co previously it is just that....previous with a certain 'promoter' in 'charge'...thankfully he no longer is.....move along the bus please A very Happy New Year for all the Blunsdon Blog’s readers but in particular, best wishes and thanks for 2014 to the magnificent track staff at Blunsdon: Mandy Bradford, Clive Thompson, Allan Tarrant, Ronnie Russell, Rod Ford, Roy Hicks, Adam Law, Robert Nobbs, John Nobbs, Phil Rice, Richie Leniec, Steve Gobey, Karen Pantry, Mike Hunt, Andy Reynolds, Mike Baker, Rex Woodruffe, Jamie Wiltshire, Rita Poole, Kelly Poole, Alan Page, Derek Franklin, Ernie Poole, Ray Aldrige, Mike Saunders, Mark Price, Edwin Hutchison, Steve Bradford, Nick Ball, Derek Hayward, Allan Fuller, Keith Johnson, Neil Luce, Stephen Nobbs, Trevor Pegler, Dave Whiting, Dave Cooke, Stephen Hayward and Martin Ball. Little Alan Page (or as we used to call him down the wheaty little love!) one of my all-time favourite people in speedway top bloke and a funny little laugh! van wolfswinkel
Was chatting to a bloke today who's connected to the club and he reckons Doyley didn't sign as he wanted the same pay deal as Leigh Adams and 2 new sponsors. Makes you wonder how Leicester can afford him then.

Pirates Of Poole
Yes Leicester have big crowds and money bag sponsors that can offer Doyle the deal he wants.
TitusTokio
Don't they say the arbitration thing usually favours the buying club?
