van wolfswinkel
All speedway fans in the south of Moonrakerrland(the other side of Warminster and Amesbury) would probably support the Knobs, and Saints, Bournemouth, Yeovil, football clubs. EnglishRoundabout
Poole troll takes over Swindon thread shocker. And Berwick's, Peterborough's and various others. Tiresome.
TitusTokio
Kildemand sounds unlikely then, his arm is not for twisting. http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2014/12/18/only-a-20-or-30-per-cent-chance-of-peter-returning-to-englanf/ I hope we have another plan. Interesting that Swindon are still 'hopeful' of fitting their fixtures to suit PK's schedule!!! Does that mean there is no plan C? Or is the Emil rumour just that?!

Does that mean there is no plan C? Or is the Emil rumour just that?! It's look like Swindon are struggling to get a No 1 rider in as they clearly thought Doyley was coming back. Emil might put a few on the gate I can't see how he'd score points on tracks he's never been on before & I can't think he'll want to ride here either.

Does that mean there is no plan C? Or is the Emil rumour just that?! Surely no one believes that Emil rubbish?! We would need Rosco to win the euromillions before that would happen!! Think we are hoping Ward is cleared on 8th Jan and hoping Holder is desperate for a British club. Risky business and unrealistic in my opinion. Can see Batch starting as our number 1. Just cant see who is out there.
EnglishRoundabout
Hampel would be a decent shout. He needs to reignite his career after a disappointing GP season.
Crazy robin
Hampel would be a decent shout. He needs to reignite his career after a disappointing GP season. He was decent when he rode for Ipswich at Swindon but can't see him ever riding in Britain again. As some have said can see Troy at No 1 with hopefully some decent back up. EnglishRoundabout
Let's hope Batch makes a decent fist of it then. I recall last time he rode at number one for us 3 years ago it was disastrous. Fortunately it was for a short time before Hans Andersen took over. milney
If we end up with Batch at no1 then it was a disastrous move for Howarth. I like the kid but we'll be significantly under the points limit. e.g. Batch, Magic, Watt/Shamek, morris and howarth still leaves us half a point under. SteveLyric2
Swindon have the answer amongst their own assets without having to 'beg, borrow or steal' others!

milney
http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2014/12/19/is-asset-miedzinski-keen-on-british-return/ This article mentions miedzinski and bjarne - wouldn't be surprised if this was just speculation from media posts, and probably from this forum, but if this is even close to true I'm a worried man
SCB
Out of curiosity, if it come down to Miedzinski on 8, Watt on 6.5 or Kylamkorpi or some other ranom 6 pointer what would Swindon fans chose? The "I'd rather gouge my eyes out than support Miedzinski" approach? The "I don't want a Poole asset approach" or the "We just need to suck it up and we'll be 2 points short of the limit otherwise"? I agree (reaches for the wine) a few weeks ago i would had shouted this down..probably did.....but at this moment in time i would gladly accept a side consisting of Batchelor Miedzinski Watt Howarth and Morris!...may not be uber glam but DW is still potentially an 8pt rider as long as the track is prepped correct and he feels wanted...trouble is though i still think he is strongly fancied by Poole eventually ....deffo no to JK though! Grachan
Nothing wrong with Miedzinski. I'd certainly take him over Watt or Pedersen - although that article is a bit confusing as it says Pedersen is "unlikely" but also says "despite" retiring.
