Shale Searcher
Rolf Gramstad now there's a name He was great around Leicesters Blackbird Road in the early 80s and a great bloke too Yes, top bloke, badly injured in a freak accident, "Zednek Kundra" did a practice start behind him and lost control and wheelied into the back of Gramstad. Broken neck/back left Rolf paralysed...... I think he would have gone into the World finals if this tragedy had never happened..... MattK
When you look at the teams who still require heat leaders and the number of riders available, there's going to be some very weak sides next year. If Leicester, or anyone else for that matter, pip us to Batchelor's signature, then we'll be one of them.
Reliant Robin
If rumours of Howarth are to be believed then something like this doesn't look too shabby at the Abbey!: Kildemand Howarth Morris Zengota / Michelsen / Korneliussen Batchelor Rose Wright

EnglishRoundabout
Could always be Jurica Pavlic??

But it's practically the same as last year & won't win the title. Nick Morris is too expensive on his average & Batch always goes missing in the big meetings. Plus it's a lot stronger at reserve, which will make a lot of difference.
Reliant Robin
I know we sometimes moan about the lack of assets being utilised but i pray it is Mikkel being considered and not Zengi or Mads! Quite rated Zengi when he was with us last time around - a dim light in a dark season and wasn't one of the Poles who went missing - think he only missed one meeting all season. 3 points for any home win now as well, and he was superb at the Abbey
EnglishRoundabout
Mads would make a terrific middle order rider. Capable nowadays from his experience gained at Peterborough, KingsLynn and Leicester of posting double figure scores at most tracks.
MattK
Every promoter in the EL will be swiping right on Michelsen's Tinder profile. Let's hope Rosco has some sexy pictures to entice him.

hyabb17
Doens't Morris need a visa then? Thought riders needing one couldn't double in 2015? Morris has a British passport. His parents are English.
Crazy robin
I know home wins are worth 3 points but is Zengi really an option as he wouldn't be for me.
EnglishRoundabout
Why not? Still young, lightening from the gate, experience of all the EL tracks and committed to British speedway. Certainly based on his time with Swindon and Coventry (where he was very popular)
thecoombdog
Why not? Still young, lightening from the gate, experience of all the EL tracks and committed to British speedway. Certainly based on his time with Swindon and Coventry (where he was very popular) I would take Zengi over Mads anyday. If Killer is tempted back though I think we will have about 7 points left for the last rider so would be surprised if we went for a low 6 pointer. But then again what 7 pointers are out there?! If we dont get Killer back then cant see us having any top end support to Batch.

This is why Im laughing at calling Coventrys team weak, Swindon are going to struggle to build up to the limit - they're not alone, a few teams will. So even if Coventrys rider all maintain their averages, the chasing teams will need to find a point (or 3) to even be at the same level. As I said AGM weekened, a 34 point limit is madness.
