stratton
They have both made it clear how much they love Poole and that is fair enough But basically, I don't trust either of them to do their best for Swindon when it really matters (the PO's)... So let's not even go there please.. They are both racers and want to earn a squid,if the money is right they will perform great riders in the past have moved to other clubs and done there utmost haven't they.? Ward is a tw@t at times but what fan wouldnt want to see him every week?! But I can understand some people not wanting to cheer him. But Holder?! WTF? What could anyone have against him? Nice bloke. Keeps his nose clean. Good to watch.

I can see your point very much yerropes, and i was a massive Autrey fan when he came here he was not the same still a class act and as a man.But for me i am not to worried who wins as long as i see a few decent races those two Holder/Ward do know how to entertain don't they.?

I'd put my house on a bad performance if we rode vs. The Pirates in the play offs from whichever one wasn't at Poole. In some ways I mean that as a compliment as they are both Poole legends & I just can't imagine them trying to beat them no matter who they ride for.

hyabb17
Evening all, I've not posted in a while but I thought I'd pipe up. Can everyone seriously tell me they would not be happy with holder at swindon as number 1. This is a world class rider who would be an excellent signing if it was to happen. People need to get realistic & realise that Killer will not be back next year. With that said we need a powerful number 1 upfront. If & I mean if holder was available we'd be stupid not to make the move. With Batch, Morris & Haworth (by all accounts a done deal) that would be a good 4 to start with. Would leave just over 6 for the remaining rider....those who fit are mads, Michelsen, Pavlic (will never happen) & many more. If I had my choice it would be Michelsen, when he rode the Abbey he was fast as hell, would easier improve his average & provide excellent 2nd string support to the top 3. If Holder was unavailable I would like Kasprzak, that guy is on the up & last time he rode the abbey he maxed out from memory. World class nowadays Edited November 28, 2014 by hyabb17
Speedy swindon pete
Has Mikkelsen been mentioned as being linked with anyone? If i was Rosco i'd be busting a nut to try and get him on his average…low 6? Nick Mikkelsen Musielak (off to wolves if you believe the talk by the looks of it)/ Howarth, another rumour. then any combination of Doyle/Batch/PK/Holder etc etc if that lot comes under the 34 limit that would be a decent team in my eyes

Never forgive him, spoilt brat, etc... Ward or Holder despite their massive allegiance to Poole, both would be huge crowd pullers. Whilst we are talking about potential number ones, let's hope Rosco doesn't pin his hopes on Kaspraczak. Class act on his day, but sure as eggs are eggs would let us down. bruno
As with going to Peterborough to support them a couple of times next year with either ward or holder I would make a few appearances at blunsdon

Gavan
Holder would be a great signing for Swindon in my opinion. Nobody in their right mond would want to take on Ward. Thing is the Poole fans think that Holder will only ride for one club over here which is rubbish. If he wants to ride uk and Poole for some strange reason choose Ward over Holder then he will go elsewhere
MattK
Why do people think Holder and Ward won't both be back at Poole?

Holder has made his statement in both the SS and the local paper that if there is no place for him at Poole, he will reluctantly consider another club!! Swindon would be an obvious choice as its a 'midweek' track and is the next closest club to where he lives in UK.
