Steve0
With 2014 second strings having inflated averages it might be best to look at 2013 riders like Ollie Allen (5.19), Rohan Tungate (4,59) & Aaron Summers (4.79). If Ollie carries on my team: Doyle Allen P Pawlicki Mads Kildemand Auty Sarjeant Oh dear! What a dreadful EL team!

proud panther
Lewis Blackbird is an asset of Ipswich. He has improved every year he has ridden, & would be a very good signing for Swindon.
Steve0
How about: Doyle 8.44 Morris 6.31 Schlein 6.22 Musielak 5.00 Batchelor 7.58 Blackbird Ritchings

Wouldn't think either Ellis or Stefan will be in the top draft 8 riders as going to be Newman, Garrity, Kerr, Steve Worrall, Blackbird, Auty, Birks & Roynon. God knows where Charles Wright will fit in as too good for the 2nd group so expect him to be at Poole with Newman then!!!!

Don't forget, Swindon effectively have last choice as Poole, King's Lynn and Coventry all have protected assets. Worrall will be protected for Belle Vue, and I expect Leicester will choose Auty, Wolves will pick Roynon/Blackbird and Lakeside whoever Wolves don't have. That leaves Birks (who has already signed for Sheffield so can't ride for Swindon) and Ellis or Nielsen.

If assets stay where they are then Newman and Kerr are already out. Blackbird as the best draft rider last season is a no brainer if Wolves get lucky. Garrity isn't a Bees asset & Sargent is but won't be in cat A. Best we get on the phone to Chris Louis & sign Balckbird or that's the end of that then!! MattK
Or fingers crossed that Charles Wright is included. It also begs the question, why aren't Richie Worrall and Kyle Howarth in the draft, as both have lower averages than the top draft riders? Best we get on the phone to Chris Louis & sign Balckbird or that's the end of that then!! But Ellis didn't enjoy the Lakeside track last season (according to stories/rumours), so he may not want to go back. Not sure where that leaves them. The only Coventry rider in the list is Roynon which IMO wouldn't be a bad thing either. I imagine the 10 will be (with EL parent club in brackets - so likely club) Newman (Poole) Garrity Kerr (Lynn) Steve Worrall (BV) Blackbird Auty Birks Roynon (Coventry) Ellis (Lakeside) Wright Leicester will surely pick Blackbird, Wolves then get Garrity unless BV decide they want Garrity and not Worrall. Swindon then get to pick from Auty, Birks and Wright. Unless like I said, Lakeside/Ellis decide he needs a year away.

remembertheracers
Spoke to his dad in the pits a few times and unfortunately Nathan would not accept suggestions or advice, even from his dad. The biggest example was when he was told to try to ride wider on bend two and therefore not lock up or fall off. He did take the mid track line a few times and came out of the bend faster but would then in the next race revert to the inside, lock up again and get overtaken. How often was he in the lead and then crashed or locked up. Anyway news about the agm should be available about 5pm. Cant remember him ever remounting after any of the many falls! He's a PL number 1, of the rest only half of them have even made it to heat leader.

As a Coventry fan, I would be happy with either Blackbird, Garrity, Auty or Roynon. I'd have like to seen them included then we could have possibly done away with the protected heats for reserves. The draft system looks a lot stronger than last year.
