RumOldBird
Don't like the sound of this, I'm not a Darcy fan but I'm really hoping it's not as bad as it sounds http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/4390/spinal-surgery-for-ward
hammer1969
Chris Holder has tweeted for fans not to donate to accounts for Darcy as an official account will be set up in the next few days Edited August 25, 2015 by hammer1969
A ORLOV
Should Rosco get Peter signed up before the 28th deadline or run with guests from the teams not in the playoffs.
Crazy robin
Should Rosco get Peter signed up before the 28th deadline or run with guests from the teams not in the playoffs. Can't see Peter coming back as he's missed meetings for all his other teams since winning the GP & is purely concentrating on getting in them next season. Crazy robin
Emil Would be nice but would rather it be a rider who knew the British tracks. Greg might be a shout but seeing how close he is too Darcy would he want to do it. Not really worried though as thoughts & prayers are with Darcy more than who wins the league.

Jason Doyle would be a logical guest for the Robins, can't think of many available riders better or more reliable than him..

thecoombdog
The only problem with guests is the 7 day rule Isn't it irrelevant for a number 1? With no riders in the play off's able to guest I would be booking Doyley in now for each play off match. Like CR says though it doesn't seem to matter anymore. Ward was a massive part of the revival with his points scoring and all around effect on the team and even after only 2 months you can say that hes irreplaceable. A Poole Swindon final would be the most subdued sports final of all time I reckon. Edited August 25, 2015 by thecoombdog
Steve0
When I thought about this yesterday, there was only one name that sprang to mind and that was Jason Doyle - a number 1 and knows the tracks well (and continues the team Aussie theme). Having said that I would much rather have Darcy in the team and that he is OK after his accident.
foamfence
The only problem with guests is the 7 day rule With some end of season winding down in the overseas leagues, it might not be difficult to find a reasonable replacement for the last few meetings. DunRobin
Don't forget teams in the p/offs have a 7 day window prior to the p/offs to replace an injured rider but it must be with a rider that is not currently in an EL line-up.
