stratton
So the England team manager has dropped an English rider for foriegn riders in the English Elite league, that sums him up. Rosco should resign as the manager of the national team now as he clearly has no respect for an English riders career. I thought Rossiter was employed by the Robins? as an employee his job is to to do the best he can for the club for me i would of done exactly the same. noggin
Bloody hell there's some bull wrote on here, if only poor old adrian had stayed on his bike and not suffered an Injury, we wouldn't have endless streams of keyboard warriors and trolls sticking there hollier than thou two pence worth in, Rosco had a difficult decision to make brought on by the lack of a number one, but I'm sure all these other teams would love us to turn up with a PL rider for every match. He should now resign as team GB manager as he has gone against what he has banged on about putting British riders first & helping them. This is where I agree with not giving so many foreign riders work permits, when British riders lose there chance of gaining experience in their own country over foreigners who use British speedway & then clear off when they want too. flagrag
If Swindon are really going to push for the Playoffs they really could do with winning at Leicester on Saturday but now its confirmed that Ward will not make his debut until Monday based on last weeks match not sure that will happen
Wackie
So Ward finally signs for the Robins, even more reason to dislike them now then.
noggin
Don't say that the Swindon fantasy world club (Steven0, Noggin & Red Robin) don't like hearing the truth.....I agree with you by the way. Don't need feeding.....I am not hungry thanks for the offer though.....Bit of advice if you want to be healthy like myself then its best to not eat at this time of the night. And you're team is full of brits isn't lol, you really are a tool.and if I need dietry advice I'll ask a specialist not a headcase.
theblueboy
So Rosco all of a sudden is a pariah because he has to make a business decision for the club who pays his wages all season rather than the national team? Is Kyle's disappearance from the Swindon line up going to hamper his development? Clearly, there are people on here who could do with an additional brain cell. I would like to name and shame but I am not sure the box for this reply is big enough.😊 The bottom line is the decision has been made in the interests of Swindon speedway not team GB. I have not seen one post from a Swindon fan that is happy to see Kyle leave but sometimes in business you have difficult decisions to make. Ward represents the best opportunity we have of obtaining a play off spot and therefore, on this occasion, the decision made is therefore correct.
mdmc82
Looks like Coventry fans wanted Zengi and now it's Howarth some are slinging mud I would be very happy with Howarth. Was brilliant in the play offs against Swindon last year. I'm not convinced Coventry will make changes though. We are top of the league even with Hans & Robson having struggled but we could be even stronger.
Gavan
Swindon's season is over then. Krcmar will be just as good on the road as Wozniak is for Leicester.....Howarth would have been good in the play-offs around Coventry and Poole. Oh and Rosco is a hypocrite talking about his plan for Team GB developing riders over the next 5 years and then dumps Howarth the BRITISH UNDER 21 CHAMPION! bit rich coming from a Poole fan! You dumped up and coming brit Howarth for Mickey Dyer!!! How is his career going now?? Selective memory

I don't think it's fair for people to write Swindon's new number 2 off before a turn of a wheel. Nobody knows how he's going to score here. He could be the next Malik or he could be the next Jamrog. KevtheRev
This might get them to the playoffs, but what happens when they come up against Poole? If after 7 heats it's close, I think we all know what will happen
Gavan
Serious question. In the matches where Swindon have used a guest what have been the combined scores of the guest and Howarth? for example did one week Hans get 10 and Kyle 6 making 16? If so will Wards scores plus Krcmar add up to more? Ward gets 13 and Krcmar 3 would be no better. That said Swindon had to do something and bringing in a box office crowd pleaser makes sense. Will they make the play offs? Not in my opinion. Even if Krcmar gets dialled in to the Abbey he will struggle away you would feel
CB252
Looks like Coventry fans wanted Zengi and now it's Howarth some are slinging mud Not seen any mud slinging, save for Howarth himself when he left Brandon. Having Zengi would have been a no brainer, despite his zero point return tonight, but don't want Howarth anywhere near us if he doesn't get on with the promotion and with his sporadic attendance. Speedy swindon pete
Urgh. The inevitable has finally become reality. I've become so numbed by years of rule changes, skullduggery and bickering between fans, management and promotions, I can't even muster the energy to be excited to have Ward and a hot European prospect in the team or be outraged that a young British rider has lost his place at my club through no fault of his own. The only real winners out of this situation are Ward, as he gets the rides he desperately needs after his ban, (whether he gives 100% or not doesn't particularly matter) and those on here who can some how find enough hours in the day to sit on here writing endless, relentless, mind numbing shyte, in the vain hope that someone will give them some meagre scraps to feed on once again. Rosco was going to get flamed no matter who he got rid of, obviously he's made a decision with his Swindon hat on. Hopefully (well, no doubt) Kyle will be fixed up with another elite squad ASAP. I'd be surprised if Rosco hasn't helped him in some way already. I no longer particularly care about winning any more, what's the point. The league and its systems and those that make them, create these situations where there are no winners. The competition aspect is so stunted it's not really worth worrying about. I'll just keep going to the meetings hoping to see some decent racing and be entertained for the evening. A win is a bit of a bonus. It's just a shame that Swindon have been forced to make these changes, which are clearly not universally popular, to try and make something of their season.
