Woz01
Maybe, like BV and there ability to increase capacity for big events Swindon will be the same? Possibly. To be fair I haven't seen any actual plans so temporary seating could be an option if they were to host big meetings.
A ORLOV
One of the riders hung out to dry ? The rider hopes it will shrink to fit before the first meeting. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CAstkNDW4AA7wh1.jpg Edited March 23, 2015 by A ORLOV
hagonshocker
Right ok, so how big is this track going to be ? just because its shaped like cardiff, doesn't mean to say it will be Cardiff's size.275 mtrs. And yes your right about Somerset 300 mtrs whether it was fault or design. But if your that much against it, you either lodge a protest or you don't go, simple really, but to be honest, i think you'l be in a minority. 'Dont go'?..protest?...why dont you just hush you village idiot!...am allowed to make a comment or raise a concern about the blueprint for the track but dont appreciate being told what to do by an individual of your obvious ignorance and stupidity now jog on Edited March 24, 2015 by hagonshocker

TitusTokio
Batchelor has been given his new visa which is great news. Hopefully never have these issues again http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/03/24/robins-skipper-batchelor-granted-new-visa/
A ORLOV
Practice went well, apart from the wind and cold. The riders looked ok especially Nick and the two reserves, thurs against riders will give a better indication of how they are going. It was good to meet up with Chalkie before the practice started and what I was told was that the figure of 2500 is the number that can be seated with many more standing around the track as now.

Gemini
Will they allow dogs in their super duper new stadium or will the jobsworth stewards be transferring there as well? Really miss my trips to Swindon - it's not the same just going to the Cotswold Wildlife Park without a speedway meeting afterwards.
TitusTokio
How much does riding order matter? Sure, some guys prefer being out in heat one but that's about it isn't it? Not enough team riding these days to even think about pairings. http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/03/24/rosco-settles-on-his-riding-order/

TitusTokio
That makes more sense. I think there's room for some temporary seating areas too, if the need is there.
thecoombdog
http://totalswindonsport.com/2015/04/kildemand-close-to-robins-return/ Killer to return for 28 days then.
SCB
If true that works for future seasons too. Kildemands 20 meeting average is is quite a bit below his 28 meeting average so will see him return on a low figure in the future if he ride half a dozen meeting this season. Chalkie
An unexpected replacement but brilliant news. Hi Orlov-where does it say it is definite? I will believe it when I see it!
Crazy robin
I just hope his heart is in it as he will be under extreme pressure to help the club out. That isn't meant as a negative either. On Total sport link, not 100% yet but seems likely http://totalswindonsport.com/2015/04/kildemand-close-to-robins-return/ Just hope he can come over, but as I posted elsewhere, his bikes etc would be back home.
