MattK
It seems Adrian only wants a contract till May so back to square 1 for The Robins. That is just Facebook speculation as to why a new #1 won't be signed til the beginning of Feb. I think it's more to do with the fact that Rosco has gone on his holidays. Sign him up, hope one of the stay aways has change their mind or he's enjoying himself.

flagrag
Crazy Robin the possible lack of commitment is one of the reasons that Leicester backed away from AM and went the rider that they have.
Crazy robin
Crazy Robin the possible lack of commitment is one of the reasons that Leicester backed away from AM and went the rider that they have. What is sad as that it seems Swindon either go with Adrian & his antics & are near the points limit or end up at least a point short with another rider. That shows the madness of signing the lowest averaged top 5 rider first who isn't even a asset so will miss meetings.

TitusTokio
So Batch is effected by all this visa stuff. http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/01/22/batchelor-hit-by-visa-issues-but-bspa-hopeful-of-resolution/ Looking for two heat leaders now? I bloody hope not.
arnieg
There is no problem with Bachelor's eligibility for a visa - the problem would appear to be whether Swindon (or indeed any other speedway promoter) are "fit and proper" persons to be sponsors of a visa.

hagonshocker
Is this the same facebook where you found out that Ulamek was are signing last week ? Afraid that was one of much conjecture on that particular day....i think i must have had 15 different riders suggested to me which were all wrong! ..all i said was that i knew who it was and all hell broke loose!...the impatience of people seriously....
TitusTokio
The Speedway 365 website paints a gloomier picture about the situation. It doesn't seem quite as gloomy as first feared I'd say. Lots of optimism it will be sorted.
Double Up
It seems Adrian only wants a contract till May so back to square 1 for The Robins. Didn't someone suggest that would be the case a while ago? I recall it also got dissed by those claiming to know the rider.
Reliant Robin
Didn't someone suggest that would be the case a while ago? I recall it also got dissed by those claiming to know the rider. That is because it is incorrect. I'm unsure if it will be Adrian - but I do know that he was keen on a full British season this year
milney
Maybe a full British season on Poole wages ....

TitusTokio
It seems that Lewis Bridger is waiting for his phone to ring.......... That was only a matter of time. He craves attention that kid. On another note, will they consider delaying the start of the season if we don't have a number one? All gone quiet on that http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/01/26/visa-issues-wont-delay-start-of-season/

MattK
http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/01/26/visa-issues-wont-delay-start-of-season/ Interesting that Terry Russell has said there'll be no delays to the start of the season. This means that either: He is supremely confident Troy's visa will get sorted before the start of the season We'll start with a 6-point PL rider at heatleader Or we'll "do a Poole" and expect the rules to be changed to suit us. I wonder which one it'll be?
