BluPanther
Miedzinski isn't my choice by a long shot and I am not as confident as others he will provide the returns we require from a number one. I'm not particularly bothered about the past and his preference for Poole. All water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. Think he did ok on the away tracks when riding for the 'dark side' and he's clearly got something about him. I recall a brilliant performance at Peterborough for his country not long ago and several impressive GP outings The side as a whole looks pretty competitive and at the end of the day that's what I look for as we prepare to enter a new season. Scored 10pts in a SWC event, and featured in a great race with Crump and Zagar. That heat is well worth watching on youtube... I think it looks a decent side, AM ( with decent stuff over here will be a number 1 i believe) forget the past he is a very good rider indeed.IThe only worry for me is Howarth i like him but am not not convinced he is a top five rider. He is in the same boat as Newman , Auty,Garrity, Kerr,(ect) can he move on,i hope so a tough ask though.AM,Batchelor, with Zengota/ Morris supporting looks good also our draft riders are decent will improve no doubt Wright on away tracks could be invaluable. A ORLOV
Report on twitter Rosco just done a deal with our new number 1 Travis Moose McGowan. Must be for Roscos dart team or is it that Moose is the spanner for our new number 1. Edited January 17, 2015 by A ORLOV
Steve0
Report on twitter Rosco just done a deal with our new number 1 Travis Moose McGowan, seems strange!!!!!!. Must be for Roscos dart team I saw that but just think he's trying to make people think the deal was for Hancock - who Moose works for! I may be wrong but just think he is trying to throw people off the scent!

foreverblue
If he is committed Miedzinski will prove to be a great signing, an exciting rider who is good to watch and although some fans may not want him now, i am sure you will warm to him after a couple of home maximums. Agrotron
I agree Adrian sure is an exciting rider and I wouldn't think Swindon had anything to worry about there.
B.V 72
You can't hold grudges with riders the way they move around so much these days. Some Belle vue fans had a problem with Scott Nicholls because of an incident that happened a few years ago.But after a few meeting fans saw a great racer on the track a great team man and a rider who had time for the fans now they all love him.A M will be fine and after the first meeting all will be forgot.(unless he rides like a donkey). I know some Swindon fans were not to happy with Nicholls when he rode for you.The truth is he is no longer a number one but he is a great second heat leader that seems to love the Kirky lane track and does a fine job for us. Nicholls' problem at Swindon was that he was trying too hard. He got excluded for touching the tapes several times and he seemed to make a habit of falling when second or third trying to pass the rider in front, when settle for a point or two would have been the better option. He also suffered from being the #1 of a very poor performing all-round team.

Funny that you think Scott isn't a no 1 but a rider who increased his average by 3 points in a short spell of a high majority of home matches is. In mind Adrian ain't a no 1 in any previous format let alone this one & has a inflated average.

Agree Matt now the preasure of being a number one has gone all the above problems you mention in your post no longer happen. Some grudges are easier than others but the plain facts are we've got a rider on a hugely inflated average that everyone knows. He won't get any leeway when he has a bad night & that ain't going to be good for the team & the club. Swindon should've never got in this position & leaving it so late will cost them. I hope I'm wrong but just can't see it.

He finished 1st or 2nd in 40 of his 54 rides!! If he has the right support in the pits he will do you a great job.
