TitusTokio
Bit of disagreement over Zengi's average this morning it seems, this says he's on 6.15 http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/01/14/robins-bring-back-zengota-for-2015/ while Adver says 6.14. Anyone know which it is? Probably won't matter too much, but if it's 6.15 that means there is no chance of Ward even if he amazingly becomes available. mdmc82
Good signing in Zengi, 100% commited rider. Would have happily had him back at Coventry.
TesarRacing
Good signing in Zengi, 100% commited rider. Would have happily had him back at Coventry. ......and as has been previously stated on here - had a very good season last year! hyabb17
Pleased to have Zengi back! Commited, had a very good last season in Poland & Sweden & also has excellent equipment! I also think it'll help Niick, Can see Zengi & Nick swapping position throughout the season which will only be good for us. His final average in 2013 was 6.15. Leaves 8.69 for the final team member. TitusTokio
That's what I thought, greensheets say 6.15. Usually trust the paper though. I think it's a decent signing.
Crazy robin
Don't think we'll be near the points limit so no real worry over Zengi's average & judging by Rosco saying we'll be going with our assets it looks like Miedzinski might be back. A bit of a hit & miss team & more near the bottom than the top 4 for me unless Rosco can pull out a no 1 who knows all the tracks unlike Adrian. A ORLOV
Happy with Zengi being signed, now just need my choice of number 1. Edited January 14, 2015 by A ORLOV

MattK
A decent signing in himself, easily the strongest second string in the league. Puts a lot of pressure on Morris though. Still need a massive signing to head the team though.

orion
This signing was really not that important it's was always going to be this standard of rider . The key to the team and the season is going to be the all the important last signing .
EnglishRoundabout
This signing was still important. There needs to be scope for improvement and Zengi has this vital ingredient. I agree the next signing is crucial but it's important that there are riders in the engine room that can up their game and not on the downward spiral in their careers.
Gloves
Agree the last signing is very important need a top draw no.1. Comparing the team to last year, the robins have one better reserve (rose for greaves) and that's the only significant improvement. Morris could well struggle as a heat leader and I think last years second string are stronger than this years. Clearly its not Rosco's first or second planned team as he wanted Killer as Number 1 and North (probably as third heat leader).

Think Zengota is a good signing, but doubt Miedzinski and Batchelor would be a strong enough spearhead. Swindon need The Kid to hick on. thecoombdog
Pleased with the Zengi signing. Always felt confident his 2nd year with us was going to be a big one for him until his injury ruined that. Very reliable as well. Can't say that about many Poles. The key to this team will be Morris. We need him to kick on towards a 7 point average. I felt sure he would do that last season and he didn't so who knows what to expect this time around. If that doesn't happen we might struggle. But no need to panic as its not how you start its how you finish and with Killer waiting around on a handy 7.5 average, the team could look different come August time. EnglishRoundabout
Whilst Kildemand was pure entertainment and on occasions thrilling to watch, was he a real number one? Maybe I have been spoilt watching a true number one in Leigh Adams. Killer often threw vital points away and crashed when leading on at least three occasions. That has to be down to lack of concentration. So now it's down to the final signing. So who will it be? Miedzinski? Hope not. Would have been a decent signing two years ago but not now. Would have huge pressure to win the crowd over and to actually have the quality to be a number one. Shamek? Only if Rosco is going for the strength in depth option. Would be good at Blunsdon and probably be a solid 7 pointer. But means Batch at number one which is not ideal. Emil. Would be a major coup should Rosco pull this off and probably what most Robins fans would like. Fantastic crowd puller and would tear up the Abbey circuit. Was a bit 'hairy' last time he appeared at Blunsdon but he would soon get dialled in. Hampel? Needs to kick start his GP career. Maybe British speedway will sharpen him up? Nicki Pedersen. Still has a UK home. Pantomime villain but superb entertainment. Again, would pull in the crowds but like Emil, mega expensive. Either way, I believe Rosco will continue with his fine record of 6 play off teams in the last 7 seasons.
T.N.T.
Great signing and a rider I wish Wolves had signed when they had the chance many years ago when he rode with Fredrik Lindgren at Zielona Gora. He has progressed a lot since then and a 6.15 average is quite modest really and if he was to stay a second string, he could easily average over 8, but chances are he will eventually have to move up. With 8.69 left for the final signing .... (would have fit Doyle perfectly) ..... then unless they manage to persuade Nicki Pedersen 8.64 to start the season I can't see much past a rider like Martin Smolinski , Kenni Larsen, Linus Sundtrom etc and that would make the decision to sign Kyle Howarth 5.27 on first was a mistake when they could have had Mads Korneliussen 5.95 or Joonas Kylmakorpi 6.33 instead. No disrespect to Howarth who had a great season but can't see him doing as well as Mads or JK.
TitusTokio
Zengi has described Swindon as his 'English home' which is promising http://www.swindonlinksport.com/2015/01/14/zengota-excited-to-be-back-at-his-english-home/ He will need to be hitting double figures most weeks though I think as Swindon are going to need the Abbey to be an absolute fortress in 2015. Tough though because in terms of home track advantage it's one of the most fair in the league.
foreverblue
Think Zengota is a good signing and with only 8.69 left rules out any lingering hope of Darcy lining up. Looks like its Miedzinski to me which may not be a crowd pleaser!!

Those who simply go to speedway to enjoy the racing and don't follow politics of it all will be happy because he's decent to watch on his day. A lot of people will not know or remember what happened with Poole unless they read it all whipped up in the press if he signs. But yeah, loads on here won't be happy no doubt.
