Crazy robin
Seems according to today's Sun newspaper that Swindon are trying to arrange their fixtures to fit around Killers so no real plan B if that fails.

MattK
It's funny, I was watching the GP highlights today. There is no way riders like Hancock, Pedersen or even KK are going to jeopardise their GP campaign by riding in England.

Pirates Of Poole
You are probably right, KK is the only one who would consider a return. If we had the 1 share position we may see the other two.

The thing I don't understand about the "job share" is that surely the riders will all want to miss the same meetings, namely Mondays and in the run-ups to the GPs? So how does having two riders who want to ride in the same meetings and be absent at the same time help anyone?
Pirates Of Poole
Not all of them will be the same plus you also have Adrian available too. For example Hancock may be happy to ride 1 Monday and Nicki the next, it's the constant weekly matches they struggle with, every other week would suit. For example Hancock may be happy to ride 1 Monday and Nicki the next, it's the constant weekly matches they struggle with, every other week would suit. But Nicki and Greg would both want to miss the Thursday and Friday meetings in the run up to the GPs, so I really can't see how the job-share would work, unless you only had one GP rider? Either way, as I said, having watched the GP highlights I can't see how either of them would jeopardise their GP campaign for a few poxy riders in the UK. Pirates Of Poole
Depends if they all have Polish teams.

Quite true so why do people say Tai is doing the wrong thing by missing out Britain next season Yes Holder has returned and AJ but will they regret it by October and while they have come back, how many other heat leaders are not returning like Pawlicki Woffinden Pedersen Kildemand etc
SteveLyric2
Only came across it by chance as there was a photo of Rosco to go with the story. Russell Lanning does a regular speedway column in the Sun - usually on a Saturday and often in the week, when there is decent news!! I must admit though I was surprised (not to say shocked) to see Rosco's pic!! Depends if they all have Polish teams. Which of them doesn't have a Polish team?!! B.V 72
It's funny, I was watching the GP highlights today. There is no way riders like Hancock, Pedersen or even KK are going to jeopardise their GP campaign by riding in England. Yet 7 other G P riders think it will be fine.As did Ward and Bjerre last year. While i am posting, don't get me wrong he has done wrong and deserves to be punished, and he has got a lot of stick for it but i will say one good thing about Ward he has stayed loyal to British speedway and that gets a big thumbs up from me.
A ORLOV
This possible meeting schedule to avoid fri meetings on the week of a GP and rider sharing was all reported on Swindon Linksport in a report by Rosco weeks ago.
ghcooke
We've heard it all before, but with the houses springing up with remarkable speed behind the pits complex at Swindon, perhaps we are more aware of the dangers that such developments can bring to our beloved sport. But, at last, there is something that we can all do ... and it doesn't cost anything! Darron Coster has created an "e-petition" under the title "Introduce mandatory noise complaint waiver for anyone who buys or rents a property close to motorsport venue". At present there are some 26,000 signatories to this petition. If it can reach 100,000 (?) by 30th March 2015 then it must be discussed in parliament. If you want to help preserve our sport please take 5 minutes to log in and sign the petition. The link to the petition is here : Click here There are innumerate cases of people knowingly moving within close proximity of motorsport venues, only to try to have the venue's planning permission revoked or have it closed completely when they take exception to the noise. It is extremely detrimental to the UK's motorsport heritage, when all the motorsport venues start disappearing. Motorsport and the associated mechanical/engineering business is a key British export and second to none in the world of motorsports.
