MattK
As I recall (correct me if I'm wrong) the season of discontent when Batch first returned to Swindon and Peterborough wanted a full transfer, it did not follow that route as there was no place for Batch in the Panthers team or offer of such, whereas it seems Swindon have a place for Doyle and have made him an offer? On that basis I think Mr H needs to put his hand deep into his pocket for an appropriate (EL#1/GP rider) fee if he wants Doyle to ride for him this year? Why would Swindon sell their only heatleader asset who actually wants to ride in this country?
65Sarge
Why would Swindon sell their only heatleader asset who actually wants to ride in this country? Because he wants to ride in this Country, but for somebody else perhaps? Edited December 7, 2014 by 65Sarge
superguest
Considering the situation with Batch and Peterborough, I don't think Swindon have a strong case for pushing on this if Leicester only want him on loan. Clubs can't have it both ways! If Leicester want to transfer him though then that's a different matter and Leicester should pay the going rate for a top #1 and SGP rider Maybe the BSPA will then insist on Swindon purchasing Batchelor?

Crazy robin
Clubs can't have it both ways & Swindon have benefitted from loans since they went back to the Elite League so have no right to want a transfer fee. Sad to see ANOTHER rider choose not to ride for the Robins but they didn't wasn't Doyley the last 2 seasons & Leicester were great to him last season. Think we might change our name to Swindon Rejects in 2015 as it looks like we'll only have riders who are not wanted by other teams. Hope I'm wrong though. Steve0
I wouldnt mind if we signed him, hes better than some on a similar average His away form is poor. If I had the choice between Buckz and North, it would be North every day of the week.

A ORLOV
The trouble is Dak had the choice of Swindon or Poole & chose Poole!!! Signed as an "asset" CR but if not used by them may well be back
Crazy robin
Signed as an "asset" CR but if not used by them may well be back I wouldn't touch him as he had the chance to hold out for a move & was like the road runner to sign for Poole. Shame he's not as loyal to the club who gave him a chance when no-one else would.

Steve0
Strange how the recent suggestions of a few questionable riders are from Poole fans!
A ORLOV
Strange how the recent suggestions of a few questionable riders are from Poole fans! Any good rider would demand a signing up fee to become contracted to a team, and a retainer if not riding for them, and only for a specific period of time. Maybe Matt is finding all the riders he has signed is costing him money and he needs to loan them out.
SteveLyric2
The trouble is Dak had the choice of Swindon or Poole & chose Poole!!! Or closer to the truth maybe - Peterborough's Rick Frost had offers from Poole and Swindon and chose Poole!! I wonder why?!
