foreverblue
I think Matt Ford is just having a laugh with all the fans that don't like him or his ways, Middlo has said previously in the paper how he has let the club down and probably thought Darcy had thrown the league away for the club. Matt Ford knows how important Darcy would have been in the play offs and although he clearly likes Ward i am sure he has dedicating the win to him is tongue in cheek. I love to watch Ward ride but Janowski and Newman are the heroes, of that there is no doubt. Janowski has really come of age and he should be the one getting all the adulation, the way he rode monday night Darcy would have had trouble keeping up and some of the passing was breathtaking. Gavan
As stated i will never have anytime for Matt Ford and that article just shows what i think of the man. To dedicate the title to the one man who nearly cost them it is a joke. Poole won the title to 3 reasons. The fact Newman was the best fast track rider in the league. Magic Janowski proving me and everyone else wrong by stepping up a level this season especially when Ward was not around and he became captain. Food for thought there as maybe Magic is better without Ward around. And finally Milik coming in on what was a false average but actually doing the business on most occasions. Even if Fords comments were tongue in cheek it is still a stupid thing to say. I congratulated the club on their success to the TRUE fans but never will i admire Ford . The man is a prat

Newman was going to be at reserve at Poole fast track or not............but yes he has done very well and was one of only a handful that fast track worked for.............. Janowski........... agree came into his own this year and definitely benefited from being made captain...........he can be proud of what he achieved..........would he have improved without Ward being suspended???????? I think he would but may be by not as much as he has............ Milik............when I saw him race for the first time at Havvy's Farewell I thought that kid could be a world beater one day..............I hoped that he would improve over the season and he did..........false average??????? still open to debate but would anyone have said it was a false average if their own team had signed him.........I doubt it........One thing you can give credit to MF for is finding riders and bringing them on..........sometimes they stay.......sometimes they move on........hope he is back next year......... Oh and that is twice I have agreed with you now Gavan...........wonder how long it will continue........lol RP

It wasnt Pooles fault he had that average. However it was clear then as it is now that his average was wrong. Don't think Milik will be back next year myself, can't see him improving much more. I think he will be your third heat leader. I think Pawlicki may leave

Poole Quay 7
If we had to make a choice between Milik or Pawlicki, then personally I would rather have Pawlicki but its all about team limits and averages so time will tell? YerRopes
This latest article has got to be a joke http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/speedway/piratesnews/11548555.Speedway__Poole_Pirates_promoter_Ford_dedicates_title_to_talisman_Darcy_Ward/ How on earth can Darcy I am a Pis head Ward take the credit, should be Newman he is the man Have to agree with you there... Kyle and Magic are the main reason Poole have been so successful again..so well done to them (and others of course) ! Darcy is a plank end of, Middlo is a light bulb short of a light and Ford is a complete **** (I'll let you choose your own).. Unfortunately Ford's comments in the Echo say all you need to about him and that sadly reflects upon Poole Speedway. Such a shame (especially for the decent majority of Poole Speedway fans)...

No way as every fan knew & said at the beginning of last season that Newman would make hay as a FTD & was way ahead of Steve, injury or not. Dont think there was a great amount in it between Kyle/Garrity/Worrall/Blackbird. All pretty outstanding.

Falcon Hammer
Kyle was more consistent than the others over the course of the season by quite a bit really. Was after he came back from injury. Before he was always looking at the opposition and trying to shut them out. Now concentrates on his own race and has improved immensely. Believe he can kick on again next year
Woz01
Ill take a ban for this. Fu ck off. You're a moron. You bring huge shame do Poole. The majority of Poole fans are a decent laugh, they're good people but they find your comments embarrassing. Even the management mock you to others. Then you come on here laughing at others, mocking others and making more totally unrelated bad unconnected comments. You really are a class A moron. And you can have Havvy. He's still a rubbish team manager. Who the hell lets Barker ride in the first leg? Sacks MJJ? Why didn't Sarj have Summers' 2nd ride in the semi final home leg? Why wasn't Sarj off 15 when he touched the tapes? No doubt you'll come back with done random statement that makes nonsense and in no way justifies your point. And I have congratulated Poole, I shook the hands of many Poole fans last night, all of them decent people, then there's you. Dear God. Post of the year. Steve0
What were they at the beginning of the season though?. Worrall started the season on a 3 point average while Kerr's was nearly 6 and Garrity and Newman were approx 5.5. Worrall and Kerr both finished the season 7.54 with Garrity on 6.75 and Newman on 6.51 What that shows is that Poole, Coventry and KL had a massive advantage at the start of the season (we all knew that) and Worrall made the biggest improvement of the 4 of them by some way in the PL. When it gets to the business end of the season though it's not about averages it's about who steps up on the night!
T.N.T.
For me Newman has been the outstanding Fast Track rider with Garrity second followed by Blackbird, Worrall etc but that is regardless now and these riders need to be bought on next year with the format changed to help them improve even more with some more challenging rides. As for Poole 2015 apart from Newman it is hard to see where they can build a team from as they are yet again victims of their own success with all of the main body having well over six point averages and Magic finally looking more like the rider we expected to see a few years ago. Magic looks like joining a few other GP riders in missing out on Britain in 2015 as they find it hard to commit to 28 meetings on various race days and want 14 meetings on one race night. Will Shamek be back ? ..... Is Milik good enough to warrant a 6.34 average and possibly a heat leaders role and the same can be said of Grajczonek who along with Newman and Milik has been the reason Poole ended up as Champions yet again. If it stays as 28 meetings on various race nights and less top riders, I think you could go with Grajczonek with Pawlicki or Milik as the spearhead and Newman promoted to a second string. Depending on the limit and going on the assumption that Ward will not be available, it wouldn't be a suprise to see Davey Watt back. 6.75 Shamek or 6.34 Milik 6.71 Watt 6.40 Grajczonek 5.00 Newman What that leaves is to be seen and who they get as fast track riders too but no doubt whoever they get in, they will be challenging yet again like normal.

LagutaRacingFan
Poole should sign Arthur Sissis, I think he would come in on a 4.00 and He's better than Darcy Ward in my opinion. 1. Darcy Ward 2. Arthur Sissis - 4.00 3. Greg Walasek - 6.24 4. Thomas H Jonasson - 5.69 5. Leon Madsen - 6.10 6. FD 7. FD
