tellboy
No, he didn't want to ride here because of his other commitments. but things do change.. Personally I don't like all this talk about wanting certain riders averages reduced. Those riders we are talking about are ones that have chose to miss out on the EL,so why should they benefit by having lower averages. The ones who should benefit are the riders who have rode here season after season. The likes of Iversen,Batchelor,Andersen,Ward(omitting his other problems)Bjerre the list could go on.Those riders have served British speedway well and surely they deserve an average reduction, not the ones that come and go as they please.
Starman2006
Back then it was 12 meetings for an average, hence the 1 meeting short. But you got an average for riding order after 6 meetings which was 4.15. But from the 11 meetings he completed he averaged 6.08. So if you take the rules as the last time he got an average according to the rulebook he would be 7.94, if you take the rules as the last time he got an average using current rules its 6.08.Take your pick, they've given other returners averages worked out both ways in the past! Oh we'd happily take 6.08, but im sure like any other poole rider you'd try and scream foul... INCOGNITO
Sowka was poor at Wolverhampton but it was felt he was under orders to stay injury free as he was a key reserve member of his Polish team and the only meeting he showed what he could really do was when he was unbeaten going into his third ride in which case he got injured. If Wolves could tempt Emil or a respectable heat leader to join they may look to use him themselves but it looks most likely they will possibly be going with Karlsson and Wells to complete their team. Sowka would easily average more than three and if Poole were to get a strong top four then having a rider like Sowka would be ideal. Roynon would not be an option as he agreed to be in the fast track drafts and will or can be used as a guest when required. INCOGNITO
Walasek is up and down in Britain but when he is on form he can beat anyone and should be capable of at least maintaining his average around 6.2 as a second string. Would Swindon not suit him better though ? Not exactly a youngster though is he at around 38 years old......and not likely to improve or master the small tracks, so no thanks!!
Pirates Of Poole
Can't see Matt going with Holder, North, ........ And a couple more 6 point riders. So I would say Walasek is a no go.
LagutaRacingFan
Walasek isn't a 6 pointer. He's a better rider than Batchelor, Lindgren, Andersen and Bjerre. Out and out Number

SteveLyric2
Matt Ford mentioned Walesek along with a number of other Poole assets when answering questions at the fans quiz night. It was in the context of 'preferring riders that had shown loyalty to the club'!!! So I can't see Walesek meeting that criteria! Milik is a better option, if Matt chooses that particular route?!
