Poole 2015

That's surprising - given that he is only the 6th or 7th best FTR in the EL - or so we are led to believe!

Why surprising.............Kyle is the best British prospect for years.............

From Rod Colquhoun, Heffernanmotorsports.com:-

There is a degree of discontent among Australian riders with new visitors to the UK lumped with a 7 point assessed starting average. This is a very difficult number to reach at any time, let alone in a rider’s first season of UK racing. The Poms love the Aussies but UK immigration is doing its best to turn the down under riders off taking that tried and tested route.

The Poole Pirates team in the UK will once again have a strong Aussie involvement with Dakota North and Brady Kurtz set to be part of the set up. They have also done some sort of deal with up and coming Queenslander Ellis Perks, son of former UK Referee, Rob.

They may be part of Poole's long term plan but that does not mean they are guaranteed places now.............Ellis Perks is on loan to Scunthorpe and Cradley................

Brady kurtz cant double up unless he has dual nationality, which he may have but he is still australian. Dont see the point of using Dakota North when there are better riders on a similar average

Oh dear! Only a Poole fan would think that - but you knew that when you went fishing!

Why she's right. The more riding he does the better riders he rides against the better he will get..

So Craig Cook can't get a Polish team, but Kyle Newman can ?

And your point is ?

if newman is the best british prospect why was he ranked about 6th in the draft?

or was that another favour for poole so they got a favourable pick in rd 2

You twist it whichever way you want. I m very sure you will..

Kyle Howarth is a better prospect than Newman. Im not a stat geek like some but surely he is younger, has a better PL average and hasnt elected for the easy ride of the draft.

Edit- Just checked and his PL average is only slightly better!!!

Agree with Brum though. Lambert is the best of the lot.

fair play to Kyle for going abroad. However if you think he is the best British prospect for years that's a bit short sighted

so you think Newman is a better long term prospect than Lambert or Garrity? Come on take your blue tints off pal. Newman takes the easy route of the draft beats riders he should do and then is hailed as the next big thing! This year again he has taken the draft when he should ride in the top 5 to better himself.

For me Newman is in the same boat as Kerr, Worrall, Garrity and Blackbird in that they can really prove themselves in the PL this year by pushing on in a heatleader role and averaging 7-8 from that position, as well as taking more scalps in the EL. Blackbird had one or two meetings in Denmark last year and hopefully Newman will get plenty in Poland, would be good if others could follow their lead and get some good experience abroad to further their development.

it's easier for people like Newman though youger and has a lower average and less of a gamble than cook at his age with a higher average.

how does that work? I'm sure there is no points limit in Poland? They must see Newman as a better prospect over there than Cook
