Aces51
Why did you have to do that for ? Fool Sorry about that but, as you know, we Aces fans are always fair and above board.
Pinny
Just seen THJ is 8 positions higher in the swedish league than lindgren and 3 higher in poland. Game, set and match. Lindgrens superb in britain - but thj outclasses him everywhere else and ill wager he scores more gp points this term than lindgren managed last?! stevebrum
Not so fast. I've just added the Swedish second division. See amended post above. 2 all then. Freddie wins as we are talking about EL anyway. ;-)

See amended post above. 14 meetings each in the first division is more accurate than 6 and 8 in the second I'd say.
superguest
THJ is a very good rider but has never been truely committed mechanically in the UK imo. And he was awful at edinburgh, but unbeatable away which gave him a falsely low average. Is his current average actually from the EL? I agree he is better than Freddie abroad and will continue to get better. However Freddie still has it in him to be in the top 5, but time is running out. I think thats the bottom line sg, he has never been committed to the EL and has only ever really played bit-part roles. But I think there is every chance he will finish top 8 in the GP's this year, has always shown up well as a WC and in the SWC.

Think he will be another that is making up the numbers. Time will tell I guess. Plus I have learned, as most of us should, about writing riders off before a wheel is turned. Pinny
Brum making a fool of himself again, his argument was thj wasnt world class and lindgren was better and has been proved wrong Lindgren had his chance to make the top 8 this year when ward was banned and nki was injured yet he bottled it big time. Cracking UK rider, average overseas rider as already said. Thj and AJ are the two best Swedes at the mo. Not really up for debate.
SteveLyric2
Certainly shouldn't be up for debate on this Poole thread - not relevant at all!!!!!
foreverblue
Certainly shouldn't be up for debate on this Poole thread - not relevant at all!!!!! It might be relevant if THJ was to come back to Poole next season and he is our asset i believe.
heathen chemistry
yes thj is a poole asset , bought for 15,000-20,000 reportedly
DunRobin
yes thj is a poole asset , bought for 15,000-20,000 reportedly So Matt does not always spend his money wisely then. He will need to use him an awful lot in the future to get his money's worth.
SteveLyric2
So Matt does not always spend his money wisely then. He will need to use him an awful lot in the future to get his money's worth. The fee was closer to £10k and was primarily to help Edinburgh through their temporary financial crisis at the time!! Agrotron
I think it was a dead cert this would happen so it would appear Ford things Darcy is above everyone else pathetic
Daniel Smith
I think it was a dead cert this would happen so it would appear Ford things Darcy is above everyone else pathetic I don't think it's just the Darcy saga. Ford had already said that no teams can speak to his assets until he says so. Maybe he's holding riders to ransom for wanting to be elsewhere and just properly pulling the strings.
