chris4gillian
If riders continue to under perform then changes will be made as there are alternatives who would improve the team although i am aware that certain riders have improved lately but North started the season well, seems to be trying very hard but for some reason he isn't in the form he was. Personally i would leave it for now and see if they can improve and i wouldn't read anything into monday's meeting either, i would just put that down to a bad day which happens sometimes, most of them underperformed against Swindon. Who??

SteveLyric2
I wish all the people clamouring for changes would simply say which riders should be replaced and name the new riders and their averages!! Doing the sums with the team average to get them back under 34 points is a mathematical nightmare in itself when you change 2 or more riders at once. Currently Poole are 33.76 so not much leeway to play with. Incidentally, with THJ back riding in both Swedish leagues, Polish league and GPs - would he really want a UK place and wouldn't he be reassessed at 8 points anyway?? He has an average, no need to re-assess him but lets be honest, he's NEVER done in the UK what he does abroad and wouldn't be that great a signing. In theory he should be but he just never is. I have already said North could be replaced by Pawlicki, if available, who i think would improve the team as North seems to have gone off the boil lately and Watt could be replaced by Buckowski if available and would improve the team in my view. I said at the start of the season Watt and North will cost us in the play offs and i still think that.

If Pawlicki wanted to ride in the UK and Matt Ford was prepared to pay his demands why did we sign Dak instead?? I'm not even going to comment on Buzz! And just about everyone felt at the start of the season that Dak and Watt were always going to be the risks, however look at where we are... Yes they have both ridden well at different points in the season but they are not performing as well now. As i said i am not advocating changes immediately but we have to be careful or the averages would have dropped too low to be replaced. The fact their averages have dropped to just over 6 according to our website proves they are not riding as well as they were. Bucko was good enough to ride for Poland in the world cup and is 12th in the polish rankings in the top league, Watt isn't even in the top league in Poland. So how do you get Pawlicki on a 6.75 average?
chris4gillian
So how do you get Pawlicki on a 6.75 average? And that's exactly my point about who is out there better than we currently have on the same averages. We're 2nd in the EL with 2 meetings in hand...yep, we need changes...not!
foreverblue
So how do you get Pawlicki on a 6.75 average? You get him in before the averages go up officially which i though was august.

Starman2006
Maybe not at the start but he may now, like Milik. Milik was a different matter at the start of the season.. So who do you suggest Matt drops to accomodate Pawlicki ?
SteveLyric2
You get him in before the averages go up officially which i though was august. I'm not following your logic! Who do you drop to get Pawlicki in on 6.75 - even assuming Pawlicki wants to come over?! The only 2 riders higher than Pawlicki are Magic and Noddy!! Gavan
Fickle fickle Poole fans. If your not clear in the table you want changes! Second in the league almost certainly in the play offs yet you want to see riders who have actually UPPED their average dropped. Try looking at the riders whose averages have dropped like Holder and Watt and to be honest Newman hasn't done as well as last year. Now I'm not saying for 1 minute that any of those 3 riders should go but no way should Gomolski be dropped. I'm sure Wolves or Leicester would love to be second in the league wondering who to replace. Can't believe some Poole fans
waiheke1
Tbf its not a poole thing. Coventry fans calling for Hans and Robson to be dropped. Kl fans calling for bjerre and porsing to be dropped. Would add that often it makes more sense to drop a rider who has increased their average riding 2nd string than a rider who has decreased their average as a heat leader. Sherborne Green
Poole are a complete rubbish this year. They are rideing far below expectations. The team are dropping points left, right and centre. Changes must be made. Hold on a second they are second in the league. They have taken 21 points from 10 away matches and dropped 5 points from 8 home matches. One foot is already in the play offs. This is not football where you have a reserve team to bring in a rider who is struggling for a week or two. The team are doing ok. No other team are chopping and changing. Why do Poole have to? Over two legs they should not be afraid of any team with the riders they have. All riders will have a dip in their form at sometime in a season but most ride through it and pick up again. If a rider has an injury that is going to effect him for a period of some weeks then that is a different matter. Just my opinion.
