Poole 2015

Recommended Posts

Swindon and Coventry are our title challengers. If Ward goes to Swindon then that would mean Coventry will get even stronger by replacing Robson with the dropped Robins rider.

See above post.

Swindon aren't a good side even with Darcy in the team, they can't fit him in without dropping another rider, he will only be coming in to put bums on seats.

Poole could be the biggest winner of Ward signing for Swindon. With him having been away for a while, he could end up with a nice below 7pt average to fit in to Poole's team next year.

Holder, Ward and Janowski sounds like a good top three for 2016 to me :t:

Gomolski is just fine in my opinion and it is difficult to see how anyone else on his average would be an improvement.

Don't think he's fine at all, he's not beating hardly anyone at the moment, he even struggled to beat Coventrys no 7 Sergeant.

Against Coventry he scored 1*1*2 1* = 5+3. Now let's see who he beat :- 1st ride just about beat James Sergant, 2nd ride only three riders in the race as Andersen was excluded so basically came last, 3rd ride only 3 riders in the race as Robson was excluded for knocking him off, so AGAIN beat no one apart from team mate Newman,4th ride just about beat an off form Kylmokorpi.

So all in all not very impressive was it??

So who would you replace him with?

Gomolski is doing exactly what's required/expected of him. Where has this desire to replace him come from??

I agree. Swindon aren't a major challenger for the title. Their main problem is the reserves just aren't scoring enough, and there's not a lot they can do about that..

Going to be made harder by Wright being bottom of tier 1 and due to miss a few meetings during next month.

On paper Rose should be one of the strongest tier 2 riders but Swindon need to get him firing.

Lewis is hardly firing for Newcastle as well.

You should be able to replace Charles with any grade A rider regardless of where he is in the list & that should be the same at Tier 2 as well.

Afraid not, he has to be a rider below the rider he is replacing, as Wright is at the bottom of the tier 1 list it will have to be a rider on the guest list or any rider from tier 2.

Would then mean teams pretending riders were injured so they could use a better rider

Wont happen in any case if that was the case Rosco im sure would suss that after a few weeks and act on it.....i dont care how much of the season he has missed a rider of his ability would look highly suspicious to end up below 7....and before anyone says Batchelor think again as e isnt that much more than a 7 pointer anyway!

Only if the rider was riding for his other team should it happen.

Mind you Swindon could've signed either Steve last season or Charles this season & avoided this situation.

Or even better sign an asset at reserve like Coventry, Poole, Belle Vue & king's Lynn have and then you wouldn't miss a rider due to fixture clashes 👍🏻

That's what I meant from my last post & guess it could've only been down to money or both Steve & Charles not wanting the move.
