Shelves Nicki P's assailant: You are my hero!

Always controversial Darcy Ward is excited about Greg Hancock's assault on the Danish speedway rider Nicki Pedersen

One of speedway sport's greatest talents, the Australian scandal kid Darcy Ward, is not part of the Speedway World Cup circus this year, after last year he got gored one ten-month ban in the face after he was bypassed up to a Grand Prix with the much alcohol in the blood.

Ward's history also includes more binge drinking, rape charges and an escape from the police in Australia in a proper hash boils. He is, in other words, a highly controversial figure, and he is certainly not on the cards with the Danish speedway badboy, Nicki Pedersen.

Despite its quarantine so attends Ward continued speedway races, and he has also heard about the incident from yesterday's race in the Swedish eliltserie where the American veteran Greg Hancock saw red and attacked Nicki Pedersen after this - after the American's view - was to blame for Hancock crash.

Hancock fumes of the bike, but sped immediately towards the Dane, and he threw this pounding on the slag with a hard body challenge.

The two fighting cocks tumbled then collapsed on the ground before being pulled their separate ways by teammates and officials. Nicki Pedersen was excluded from the heat, while Hancock was fined 5,000 kronor. The maximum penalty jury may award.

Nicki Pedersen was certainly not pleased with Hancock's assault, but Darcy Ward on the other hand, he can not get enough. He both rejoice Hancock and sends svinere away after the Danish speedway star.

- My hero, writes Ward directly addressed to Hancock on Twitter, while shortly after sending a proper broadside of place against Pedersen.

Nicki Pedersen your a prat. ?? Not scared of you little boy.

- Darcy Ward # 4? 3? (D_Dublu_racing) June 16, 2015

- Nicki Pedersen, you are a pikspiller. I am not afraid of you little boy, says Ward, causing some of his followers to suggest that he put alcohol on the shelf for a while.

Ward is not finished with its verbal attacks.

- I'm just saying what everyone thinks. I stand by my words, writes Ward.

Finally, write the Australian that Pedersen has blocked him from Twitter. Followed up with a 'fear' and a 'kissing' smiley.

Yes, he and Nicki Pedersen is not exactly each other's cup of tea.

Ward is a man with a violent temper. Just watch the video below.

Totally agree with Ward, Pedersen had it coming from someone although bit surprised it was Hancock, not many like Pedersen and if he gets excluded or comes off his bike in Cardiff, you will no doubt hear the cheers in Bridgend!!

It just shows everyone has their limit even Hancock.Should put a bit of spice in to the Cardiff gp though.

Except Pedersen didn't 'get anything coming'.

Net result of Hancocks efforts was Hancock lying on his back about to get a beating until others dragged Nicki off him.

Don't think so, Hancock would have had him.

Pedersen did have it coming for years of dirty riding, a lot of riders have felt the force of Nicki's wipe outs.

Of all the riders that have shown support for Hancock in this issue, you choose to feature Darcy Ward?! Anyone would think you've got something against him?! On a Poole thread too!? When he's not even riding for the Pirates!! tut tut.

ps. the pending Pedersen 'Monster' sponsorship deal is now non-existent!!!!

Egg on faces to all those (Skids) that said Milik didn't want to ride in the UK in 2015...

Did he not say that his demands were too high rather than not wanting to ride here. Chris?

Not that I recall...but I may be wrong and if so duly apologise to Skids.

i did mention this when it was first mentioned that Milik may be coming over here after all and i can't actually remember what Skiddders excuse was but i am sure he will remind us all what it is and i expect we have misquoted him in some way.

The way Watty is riding now i may have to eat some humble pie, he rode very well last night except for one blip in his last ride.

Apology accepted! :P

From 5th June:-

'I don't think I said it quite like that. What I said or meant to suggest was I doubt any promotion would/could pay the financial guarantees that he was seeking at the beginning of the season. Poole certainly wouldn't pay it for a 3rd heat leader position to a rider who struggled when promoted to that position last season and whose fixture availability was questionable..

As we are now part way through the season, maybe his financial demands and other fixtures have reduced sufficiently to enable clubs to consider him?'
