stevebrum
There are a few stipulations as to where DW might go:- 1. What average will the BSPA decree he is on? 2. Which club(s) can fit him in on a like-for-like basis? 3. Which club(s) can fit him in and re-declare on the points limit whilst only retaining 2x7 point+ riders? 4. Which club(s) can afford him? 5. Which promoters does MF get on with? 6. Which club can offer him the most fixtures? 1. Whatever Poole want or is in the best interest of British Speedway. 2. Depends on the answer to 1. 3. Lakeside, Leicester, Wolves. 4. All of 3. 5. Who knows? Who cares! 6. Besides the current top 4, Wolves and Belle Vue seem to have a realistic chance of extending their season. Starman2006
Although I don't believe Matt Ford is as bad as people make out, I can't help but feel behind closed doors he will tell him to keep his average under 9. Arya. im afraid your wrong there darling. Riders get paid by the point, rider doesn't score doesn't get paid, Darcy included. Probably Think your barking up the wrong tree there as well. stevebrum
Expected there is a fall back fee that top Ex GP riders get. Thought some had some sort of guarantee involved.

With his track record, he is a liability and hardly in a position to demand top dollar!
GoFastTurnLeft
Paul Starke riding out of his skin tonight! He's had a few meetings recently where he's been punching above his weight. Hope the trend continues.

Depending on what happens with Miedzinski then Swindon might need him. He could have them 3, plus possibly Poole all offering him terms - which basically means an auction for his services. Frankly, if Leciester and Lakeside don't at least speak to him then both sets of promoters are not doing their jobs properly.

Poole Quay 7
If Darcy does come back to ride this season then I have always thought that the Poole management would be very reluctant to loan him out to a team that could be seriously considered to be a play-off rival? Mind you Poole have to get their act together first to be considered as a top four play-off contender themselves starting with Davy Watt who unfortunately for him has had one injury too many and it's now affecting his ability to consistently score well this season. Poole Quay 7
Davy watt will score fine once he drops down to second string again Davy watt will score fine once he drops down to second string again He will do OK at home but on the road he will be inconsistent which to me is a weak link in a winning team. mdmc82
Apologies in advance If it's already been posted but what are pooles averages for June ? Magic 8.22 (same) Holder. 7.47 (Average gone up) North 7.19 (Slightly up) Watt. 6.54. (Down) Gomolski 4.67 (Same) That's why I'm not sure why there was all this talk of Holder doing bad just to drop his average as both his & North's average will stay above 7 anyway due to rolling averages. foreverblue
Thanks so what is shameks average who could be replace ? he could replace watt now as his current average is 7.08 and Shamek's is 6.75 but after june 1st he can't as Watt's average goes down to 6.54, presuming Shamek wants to to do it. SteveLyric2
Shamek's final (28 meeting rolling??) average for 2014 was 6.75. Not sure what his 20 meeting average is - but I know a man on here who will know!! Of course, its purely academic if he doesn't want to do EL this year - or he would cost too much like Milik!!!! foreverblue
Davy watt will score fine once he drops down to second string again No he won't, he is on the downward slope, he is PL standard now and soon he will have an average so he can drop down to PL. Shamek's final (28 meeting rolling??) average for 2014 was 6.75. Not sure what his 20 meeting average is - but I know a man on here who will know!! Of course, its purely academic if he doesn't want to do EL this year - or he would cost too much like Milik!!!! But all riders started the season on their 2014 average didn't they? So the 20 meeting average only applies once they have done some meetings.
mdmc82
Thanks so what is shameks average who could be replace ? Shamak (if he wants to return) could replace Watt. If he gets through to the Euros though I can't see him wanting to commit to anything else. Then to fit Ward in at the end of the month, Magic would either have to get his average as high as Ward's so could be replaced or would have to replace Holder & North as only allowed 2 riders over 7 in team if redeclaring. Very risky taking a team apart for one rider and madness replacing Janowski who imo is a better rider than Ward.

The only option really would be if Janowski was replaced by Ward if Janowski could get his average above Ward's but unless Janowski doesn't want to do a full season i don't see why we should replace a rider that has been the backbone of the team for two seasons.
