Poole 2015

Recommended Posts

Don't worry about Gomolski, i think he will be fine, on the pace in all bar one race when he came last but generally i think he will be ok, Leicester is a tricky place to make up ground although there were some good races and he scored 5 away which is as much as Watt and more than Holder so he isn't the problem, on last night's evidence Holder and Watt to go, get Darcy in and Brady kurtz.

Ooh you are such a tease FB!!!

Is agent Watt about to walk the plank shortly with DW limbering up for a return in the next few weeks.

Agent Watt and who else.

Either Holder or Janowski surely ....how does the 2 over 7 work?....is it open to abuse so one drops to below 7 to allow Ward to com in?

The form both are showing currently neither will drop below 7, i would keep them, they are doing a good job, let Darcy go to another club and get Shamek in for Watt.

Both are over 7 from 1st June, so would need to re-declare to get Ward in due to his high average. Would it be worth the risk?

North, Holder & Magic are all over 7 at the moment and with rolling averages and improved form, they all look likely to stay that away.

To fit Ward in, it would mean only keeping 1 of the 3 above or replacing magic if he can get his average as high as Ward's.

I'd be very disappointed to see any of them go to fit Ward in. I am pretty confident Ward will ride elsewhere the remainder of the season, reduce his average a point or so, and be back with the Pirates next season.

Are you suggesting he signs for another club on loan & purposely gets lower scores than he is capable of ? Whatever you think of Ward I don't think he would do that .

Yep agree with this, everyone will say hes fiddling his average but i think in this current format, and having not rode competitively all season he would struggle to average over 8.4 ish imo

Yes I think that's absolutely what he will do...

Even if he takes a point off his average, he will still have a higher average than Matej Zagar, Kenneth Bjerre, Chris Holder, Dakota North & Troy Batchelor to name just a few, so he will still be good value for money.

I think very highly of Ward, I felt sorry for him and I think he's without a doubt the most capable speedway rider in the whole world. But I don't think he'll be taking too many risks at another club while he get's back into the rhythm of riding.

Although I don't believe Matt Ford is as bad as people make out, I can't help but feel behind closed doors he will tell him to keep his average under 9.

I think all speedway supporters think highly of Darcy as a speedway rider, he just needs to engage his brain before he acts in his personal life.

Poole would have to make sure he doesn't go to a play off contender.

It's not down to Poole - if Poole don't want to/can't use him - he will go wherever he wants!

I thought it would be an advantage to have agent Ward riding for another play-off contender anyway?

There are a few stipulations as to where DW might go:-

1. What average will the BSPA decree he is on?

2. Which club(s) can fit him in on a like-for-like basis?

3. Which club(s) can fit him in and re-declare on the points limit whilst only retaining 2x7 point+ riders?

4. Which club(s) can afford him?

5. Which promoters does MF get on with?

6. Which club can offer him the most fixtures?
