Poole 2015

I guess I'd rather be in the sun sipping a cold drink - and not give a t**s about BSF comments!!:D

Mate i don't know why you bother argue with them. They clearly have a massive issue with the name Poole. Still like you Arya and many other Poole fans, we look forward to all these anti poole sado's congratulating us in October on our 7th EL championship and 3rd on the trotski..:approve: :approve:

He isn't referring to people discussing a controversy in speedway, he is referring to the same 2 or 3 posters who post literally hundreds of posts trying to find anyway to make it clear Poole is to blame.

I mean take a look at your posts for example. You've posted literally hundreds of long posts in this thread, desperately preying on any technicality you can find to make Poole look bad.

It's not about the majority discussing a controversy, it's like having a room with 100 men in it, and 2 or 3 keep screaming over everybody else until everybody else stops talking.

How amusing, given that you have been equally as vocal and made as many posts.. most of them arguing against the FIM ruling.. then finally agreeing with it..

It must be very hot in Portugal at the moment for BWitcher to be spending so much time indoors on his laptop!! :D A bit sad really.

Very hot thankyou, currently sat in the garden of a holiday home in an old time village in the mountains outside Lisbon enjoying a few heats of the GP.

Rode well, just ran out of steam a little towards the end.

Good to see another young one enter the mix.

What on earth are you babbling about now??

Ah thank goodness for that - I can wear my Pirates tee-shirt with absolutely no chance of being accosted by another Speedway fan when I'm in the Algarve in 2 weeks time - all arranged not to miss a single Poole meeting! :t:

haha, far from being accosted, if I saw anyone over here wearing a speedway shirt of any team I'd be sure to say hi and buy them a drink if possible.

Regardless of any disagreements on here we're all speedway fans and that transcends any club loyalties or disagreements on rules.

Weather is picking up nicely Skidder so you look set for a good 2 weeks.

Whereabouts are you staying?

Vilamoura (stayed there several times) - I've been a regular visitor to the Algarve for nearly 30 years.

Th team looked very lack luster last night. It was only Majic who rode a superb meeting along with North, that saved the meeting at the Lions last night. The Lions would have had a home win if not for those 2 riders, with a botch together team of onl 3 Lions riders.

With Lewis Bridger ringing at 3.30 to say he dosen't think the time is right for him to return to speedway. Think that may well be his last shot at it, as no club is going to give him house space. Chris Holder looked half of his former self, Kyle was good but not brilliant, not much more to say about the team other than on last night showing, they will seriously have to up their game to hold on to the tittle again this year.

Its what Poole do - up their game for September/October!! :t:

But I agree, not a very convincing all-round performance last night, despite an away win. I hope that Gomolski is not doing similar to his stint with Swindon in 2013 - started well then tailed off before being replaced in June?! Watt and Holder also clearly still 'struggling'!

But then some of the riders may already know their fate.............?!

Majic was a pride to the team last night. Really enjoyed watching him ride. As for the rest not that impressed with any of them. North rode well. Newman was well off the pace at times. If the 2 Lions reserve had come up with the goods. Then the Lions would have come out on top of the meeting. With only 6 points from the 2 of them. That said Wright did a great job with him standing in at the last minute. But Lambert must surely be walking on broken glass. Just 1 point again last night. He is doing well in the PL, but just can't seem to get to grips with riding in the EL. Can't see him lsting the season out at the Lions.

All said good win for Poole, all though it was up against a boddged up team with riders coming in at very short notice. This must also be the end of Bridger ever riding speedway again after the stunt he pulled yesterday.

Don't worry about Gomolski, i think he will be fine, on the pace in all bar one race when he came last but generally i think he will be ok, Leicester is a tricky place to make up ground although there were some good races and he scored 5 away which is as much as Watt and more than Holder so he isn't the problem, on last night's evidence Holder and Watt to go, get Darcy in and Brady kurtz.
