stevebrum
Dakota North has been brilliant for Poole this season, & doesn't deserve to be dropped for his efforts. Agreed, however MF will do anything to bring back the golden let down. Besides Holder no other rider is important enough to Poole so are dispensable. Magic and North have been doing an excellent job likewise Gomolski. It's really only Noddy that's been letting the Pirates down so far. TesarRacing
Yes but Pawlicki does having a very tempting average and doubt he would be sacked just to get Ward in. Pawlicki is expensive that is why he wasn't in the team at the start,Watt is cheaper and so is North, also North was part of the sponsorship deal with Frost. That is how I understand it - does that not mean he is likely to keep his place?

dump that clutch
if PK doesn't see the season out then I'd be happy to see Darcy at Blunsdon.
Pirates Of Poole
I'm sure you would I cannot see Matt letting Darcy go anywhere else in the EL myself. I'm sure other teams are keeping a close eye on possible riders becoming available.

SteveLyric2
Mmmm, there is always that ...... Always.......! Quizzed on the prospect of Ward returning, Ford told the Daily Echo: “Darcy is always going to be important to this club and if he doesn’t get in here, we’ll do our utmost to make sure he fits in somewhere else because we want him riding. “I have discussed things at length with Darcy and it is not about him coming straight back into the team. He knows if there is an opportunity to do it without making wholesale changes then we will do everything in our power to make it happen. “It is a matter of waiting to see what happens but there is a reason we remain favourites to win this league and I believe we have the best seven-man team in British speedway. “You could make a case for Coventry but I would add that we went there and beat them when we had a full side.” Meanwhile, Ford cited the absence of captain and Grand Prix star Maciej Janowski as the main factor behind Poole taking one point from three meetings prior to last week’s triumph over Wolves. Ford added: “Had I known Maciej was going to be out for so long, I probably would have taken somebody on another 28-day deal. “We could have approached Krzysztof Kasprzak or Antonio Lindback, two riders who would have been very much at home helping us for a month. “In the three meetings we had with Maciej in the team, we picked up all 11 points available to us which says a lot. “We haven’t had a lot of luck and have yet to really track our own team. Maciej is, in my opinion, among the best 10 riders in the world. Let’s get him back first then take any further decisions as they come.” I think its typical of Matt, being the great promoter that he is, to do what is best for EL speedway. Get him back into British speedway asap - extra bums on seats at wherever he signs - its what every EL Promoter wants to see, even if some (very few) of the fans disagree!! Leicester, Swindon and even Wolves could be options on current averages. Edited May 14, 2015 by Skidder1

SteveLyric2
Where else can Darcy go, Swindon?? or Coventry if Hans went to Swindon. It'll all depend on the end june/ 1st July averages. If Darcy's revised 20-meeting average is even higher than 8.70 (after the FIM punishment) then if Swindon use him to replace Miedzinski, they are already virtually on the 34 point team building limit. Leicester have more scope to take him as they are/will be looking to make more than one change!!
foreverblue
Peterborough let Adam Roynon go to Redcar on a temporary basis, so perhaps the same deal could be done with Poole then Darcy could come back at the end of July having spent a month at another club. CB252
“You could make a case for Coventry but I would add that we went there and beat them when we had a full side.” Not strictly true as 'technically' Poole had a side better than their full side as they had Schlein (averaging circa 8 for Lynn from a Heat Leader berth this year) riding as a second string on a track he rides well. The reason that Poole remain favourites is because they will pull every stroke in the book to win, whereas we know that our side now will be our side come playoff time. We're well aware that we're not permitted to win the title, so we'll just enjoy our little run whilst we can.

foreverblue
But would Darcy want to ride at Redcar He may do it's not that bad! He can't of course but after so long out i expect he would be willing to ride anywhere.
mdmc82
Holder is much better now, Watt is the one that worries me. I don't think Holder has improved, I think his scores now have a lot to do with the fact he is mainly against Reserves & 2nd strings. He still showed poor form in the best pairs when against tougher compitition. It's a lot of pressure for Watt riding as a heat leader as he seemed to struggle in that position last year. Good news for Poole though that Janowski is now fit to return as they have missed him.
