stevebrum
I can't agree with that Steve, i would say Josh is much more able away from home and he is still improving. There is nothing to agree with tho. Josh is 6.40 and Watt is 6.71 from start of season. What Josh may or may not do in the future is neither here nor there. Watt is the better rider as things stand. hagonshocker
There is not much in it at the moment...well apart from the fact Watt isnt much use out injured!.....not sure why you are getting your knickers in such a spin Steve and i disagree about what you say about the future being irrelevant to a point as there is a lot more to come from JG than DW so in my opinion that makes him the better option for Poole especially in the fact they are about the same use to the Pirates at this moment in time..well apart from the fact i already mentioned!
foreverblue
Rather have MIlik or Shamek back than either of them. I noticed that Gomolski's average is assessed as older than previous season so does this mean he has to do a certain number of meetings before he has a official 2015 average. Imagine it would be 4 home & 4 away which means it would no longer be assessed after 8th May (if no rain offs)

The 20 meeting rolling average is based only on 2014 and 2015 scores! I don't think we will see Milik returning to Poole - or any other club - unless he reduces his considerable financial demands!!!! Shamek? I'll keep an open mind on! Its still early days. Edited April 28, 2015 by Skidder1

I realise what the rolling averages are based on but on the BSPA site it states that Gomolski's average is assessed due to him not riding here last year and as his average hasn't been updated like the rest of the team i would think it depends on him doing a minimum amount of meetings. Not sure why you are making an issue of such a irrelevant point! Josh is the long term better option for Poole without dispute. However he isn't ahead of Watt at this stage of his career or season. Plus Watt isn't out injured as he rode in Poland the weekend!

Watt is fit to return but cannot this Wednesday because Josh G has to complete his 'minimum 28 day cover'! Watt will return for the May fixtures. Pirate Baz
Who will we use on Monday? Bank holiday and all bar Belle Vue (Monday track !?) and Swindon are riding, and the latter have their main men injured anyway. Can't see Zagar flying in for a guest booking, Nicholls average is too high. Looks like Craig Cook or Nick Morris. With Cook in town tonight that would save the cost of a 'phone call. Crazy robin
Think Josh will be snapped up by another team if they have any sense. I'd have him back at Swindon.

Even off form he will clean up! He might clean up at 2 but his scores will be balanced out by North and Watt as heat leaders. Holder scoring 12 and Watt 7 and North 7 is not much different to how its been going. Would be different if Holder cleans up at 2 and Watt or North can get 10 or 11 a meeting
