Poole 2015

Recommended Posts

My advice would be to park down one of the side roads, it may be a five minute walk but free!!

Parking in Poole is a nightmare at the best of Times, what with the Hospital close by and visitors to that establishment also looking for free parking, if you want to find ON street parking and NOT miss the start i suggest allowing plenty of time.

Allowing plenty of time is always good but if you are prepared to walk ten minutes you can usually park down tatnam road which is just after the coop, not done it for a long time personally as i normally get the train.

Do not get there before 6 though as there is a 2 hour parking restriction which is strictly adhered to by the powers that be on a race night.............

Kacper Gomolski missed his meeting in Poland today-presumably delayed on route after riding at Poole last night-will the Poles take action ?

It's hard to know with Poland. Can't see them being happy.

Hope Holders shoulder is okay

Holder is no longer riding in the best pairs meeting Saturday

Think its his wrist not his shoulder!! It was referred to as a 'dead wrist' but should be ok for Good Friday.

A. It could be Holder doesn't want a full season especially when the GP's are in full swing.

That's my guess.

It's logical but may be the other way round if Holder isn't with the GP leaders come July but Magic is.

However I expect MF will be looking long term (2015 & beyond) at working with his 3 big hitters CH, DW, MJ and fitting them as best he can in the team this season and seasons to come.

Davey Watt picks up a foot injury in a Polish Pairs meeting in Krakow yesterday!!

Get well soon Davey

A bit more than that

WATT BREAKS FOOT

30th March 2015

Poole's talisman Dave Watt has suffered a broken foot and ligament damage whilst racing in Poland on Sunday.

Watt who had returned to the Pirates this season after spending the past three seasons at Lakeside took a fall when heat 11 of the Pairs event he was competing in at Polish club Krakow had been stopped

The 27 year old Queenslander has told us "I am really angry and upset about this injury. I have broken my left fott and damaged inside and outside ligaments of the ankle. I worked so hard in the winter to get fit for this season after a spate of niggling other injuries and then this happens to me right at the start of the season."

"I am already sorting out treatments to be back as quickly as possible but right now I can't put a timescale on it".
