Trees
Don't even think about trying to lay the blame at the Stars door for the cancellation of the meeting on that abomination of a track at Poole at the end of last season!!!
Starman2006
so why shouldn't they not want to ride when the track was that poor? and it was all the riders stood there saying they didn't want to ride, except for Janowski who turned up later and then decided no when HE saw it and Rory Schlein, as team captain, was speaking for the TEAM Just Rory Schlein from the KL side ? g13webb
Poole track staff........so hardly rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!! You mean the people who made the hole, ...... or the other people who couldn't get the track racable..... I wouldn't take too much notice of either of them ... If they were as good at their job, as they are spreading untruths, that meeting last year WOULD have gone ahead.... After all, the rain had stopped before the meeting was suppose to start..... waiheke1
I've heard that matt's waiting for starman to confirm Jerran hart's prison status before he will authorize any work on the track.

scottyfan
Or the riders who kicked the sh-ite out of it and made it bigger.. That's the ones. After it was filled in and packed, they started kicking it about, made it worse, and didn't want to ride, especially a certain Austrailian, who was the most vocal about not wanting to ride!!!!! And given the amount of rain we had in the last week it was as good as irrapairable, by the time they'd finished with it..
shalelover1
Hold on ` don`t get your pants in a panic,we had a track at Kings Lynn once for a Sky meeting and Leigh Adams,Crumpy and Nicki P all refused to ride

stevehone
but if it could be kicked out easily by a rider wearing his trainers, what would a spinning back wheel be able to do to it? and starman, you were in the pits when they were having their conversations on track with Ronnie Allen especially a certain Austrailian, who was the most vocal about not wanting to ride!!!!! that would be the team captain I mentioned then

It was already rain sodden because of all the rain we had, to be honest we were very lucky to get it on.

SteveLyric2
So the track was fine when the meeting took place days later. Lets hope its fine tonight. For any travelling Stars fans, the stadium owners (not Poole Speedway) have increased the car park admission to £2.

My advice would be to park down one of the side roads, it may be a five minute walk but free!!
Crazy robin
What is your definition of North cleaning up at home? just curious Just easily attaining his average that's all really.
foreverblue
Although i am far from North's biggest fan i would agree it shouldn't be a problem maintaining his average and his recent performances would seem to suggest he will. Ward has said he intends to ride in the domestic leagues when his ban ends but don't see how he could fit in the team especially if as expected Gomolski's average goes up substantially which means he would have to replace someone on a like for like basis which either means Holder or if Janowski's average rockets. It could be Holder doesn't want a full season especially when the GP's are in full swing.
