MattK
Everyone expects Magic to be the the back up to Holder but it could be Pawlicki and then when Darcy is clear to ride they are not limited to two seven point riders Does it matter, as long as Darcy has a lower average than the rider being replaced. 17.4.2 A Teams combined MA for the top 5 positions must not exceed 34.00 points nor include more than 2 x Riders, whose MA exceeds 7.00 or 2 Doubling-Up Riders (satisfying the same conditions as for the initial Team Declaration) when re-declared, either permanently or temporarily, except where the MA of the introduced Rider is equal to, or lower than the Rider being replaced. Only Riders with a lower EDR Grading may be re-declared for the #6 or #7 positions.
A ORLOV
If he can't get 1 it won't change because someone is Injured. Darcy had a 3 year visa along with Chris, who's to say they won't be renewed as still had plenty of time on them. I may be wrong but as I understand it all visa's were cancelled and have had to be reapplied for from now.
Vincent Vega
Would Bridger be a possible signing? Guested for the Pirates last season done well. He would probably get good local sponsorship to help with equipment.
waiheke1
Wonder if a young British rider with the same history of incidents as Darcy would be allowed into Australia?. Honest question before I get slated. I think he got a discharge without conviction for the issue with the drugs and fleeing police, so he probably has a clean criminal record.so, if he was a brit and there was a professional league in auusie, I think he would get a working visa. Does it matter, as long as Darcy has a lower average than the rider being replaced. T.N.T.
Does Magic want a full season now or part season ? ..... Other options could be Piotr Pawlicki. No he isn't ...... his brother maybe surely it is unlikely though that darcy will replace a rider with a higher average, hence some reshuffle will be needed if he were to be accomodated. He would have to replace a rider with a higher average to avoid major reshuffling and if they started with Holder and Janowski, one of those two would have to make way any way if he did come back in July. If Darcy did manage to get a Visa and appear somewhere later in the season I would think there is more chance of him signing for Swindon or Leicester

jenga
josh g is your man as the elite league is so poor at the moment. sorry, not at the moment... all the time.. Edited March 2, 2015 by jenga
SCB
Magic posted on facebook yesterday he was back at Poole - I'm amazed nobody has mentioned it yet. Ad in Gomolski has said he's back in the EL thats the two. And it hardly a shock. Another bloody good team built by Ford - and all without Darcy Ward! BluPanther
If Gomolski is confirmed , they will be two cracking signings imo...
dabbsjoe
surely bringing back Ward into the side mid season won't be as easy as is being said. the visa application would take a fair bit of time to complete for one.

Well they have 6 months to complete a visa application, it's not going to take that long is it?!
dabbsjoe
Well they have 6 months to complete a visa application, it's not going to take that long is it?! but surely they can only apply for a visa when a team space is available, that is unless it is already agreed that whoever he will replace out of Holder and Janowski there deal is only up until Ward is available to return to race. can't have a visa if he doesn't have a job. or at least that's how I think it works I know you can get travelling visas Edited March 2, 2015 by Joe1986

SCB
First set of averages will see Dakota Norths average go up to 7.46 due to rolling average now only being 20 meetings. Conveniently, at the same time, KK will be 7.44. Is Matt Ford playing a clever game?

Without checking I'm sure the rules only say "at the start of the year" or something like that. As it would be a like-for-like change I'd do it if I was a manager/promoter
