Unless Poole are planning tl ride with 8 riders then someone will have to be to bring back the boy wonder

Someone could be on a short term contract.

Could come back for an injured rider if we are unlucky enough to get one

Can you give the lottery no's out for this Saturday as well please?.

There is no reason why the result would have been different and i dont do the lottery.

because kl would have got first pick of opposition. Surely you'd agree that if different teams raced each other in the semis the outcome may have been different?[/quote

The outcome of the semis may have been different but not the overall outcome, poole may have met kings lynn in the final

A bit like when gafurov agreed to sfand aside for thj to come in !!

And Miskowiak too. No doubt on June 28th all the Poole riders will march into Matt Fords office and offer to quit the Pirates team for the good of Darcy and Poole Speedway.

The current Poole riders must love the fact all the Poole fans can't wait for at least 1 of them to be sacked in July!

Not all Poole fans think like that....................I certainly don't and nor do most of the others I know................what a load of crap some people talk..........

Why shouldnt a underperforming rider lose his place in the team, Miskowiak was useless. If at the end of june we have an injury or someone is off form then the team will be changed, whats wrong with that. Nobody is knocking down Fords door to be sacked but if they are not doing the job they should expect it.

What is it with World Governing bodies, that they can't organise a 'Party in a Pub'. Last week, we hear FIFA want to disrupt world football so justifying the handouts to their delegates and playing the World-Cup at Christmas, and now FIM make an announcement that makes our league last year null-in -void.

The FIM have come out of all this with as much credit as Darcy Ward. What a fiasco. What has been gained by deeming those matches played before any suspension, as void. Surely they know you cant change the past, and all decisions should be for the future of the sport.

Everyone expected Ward to be banned for a year. Shortening that to 10 months, some, might see as a victory, but in doing so, have taken away the integrity of the whole league season.....

Well done FIM....... You really have played a blinder........

Matt Ford has stated Darcy will only come back into the team should we need him that doesnt sound like he will come back, if the team is going well it won't be changed just to accomodate Darcy.

I think they made them void so Darcy wouldn't be paid for those meetings but the mistake they made was allowing him to ride in those meetings in the first place. I thought it was strange at the time that he was allowed to race after the test.

I do not understand why the speedway clubs and federations have anything to do with the FIM, there may be a reason but they seem to cause problems and make money and deals for doing very little.

As mentioned above like FIFA these ruling bodies need a bloody good clean out and reorganisation or kicking in to touch.

With the fuss about the SEC and GPs and riders possibly not allowed to ride in both I did wonder if the organisation running the SEC would tell which bit of the FIM it was that caused the problems where to go and get the federations to run under someone else.

- They had the evidence from day 1.

- They then had an admission of guilt from the rider concerned.

It then takes them over six months to decide upon a penalty!

To use a popular, fitting phrase in this instance - "what an utter shower of sh!te".

How many nights in posh hotels; travelling expenses; three course gourmet meals; not to mention the proverbial 'free bar' has this cost the FIM - or should I say, the motorsport-paying public?

You really couldn't make it up. A nice little earner no doubt for the internally-nominated 'Officals' at the FIM.

Added to which, as mentioned, it now makes a complete mockery of last year's Elite League Campaign. Thanks.

And whilst I'm certainly no admirer of the Poole Promotion, it has been unacceptable for them (and their supporters) having to wait so long to effect their 2015 squad building. Can't believe I've actually said that - but fair's fair.

Did they actually have an official admission of guilt from darcy? The rumours about off duty policeman etc. and thr appeal against suspension would suggest otherwise.

Well insomuch as on the date of the test, he told Eurosport in an interview that he had been drinking after some bad news, and that he was dehydrated because of not eating.

F I M ? Ward failed test 17/8 banned from racing 28/8 6 months on decision reached 10 month ban can start racing 28/6 agreed. Now the good bit any racing between 17/8 and 28/8 was wrong. But the ban starts from 28/8 surely the ban should start from 17/8 or maybe its me
