Poole 2015

While I don't disgree there, I think it's wrong he's not getting a hearing and it keeps getting put back. Thats not fair, guilty or not. What if he is/was innocent?

As for ECHR - can an Aussie take a Swiss institute to the EUROPEAN Court of Human Rights? :D

I believe ECHR stands for European Court of Human Rights

Last time I looked Switzerland was in Europe - and indeed it is signed up to the ECHR

however I believe that before going to the ECHR you have to exhaust the domestic legal process. Is DW really going to take the FIM through the Swiss courts?

Ya think?...it's ok but still a lot of if's and maybe's....North has an inflated average to live up to Watt was at times dire away from home last year Pawlicki can and actually is pretty inconsistent and never a guarantee Brady will find it easy in the EL...and if were being honest here as much as i like and respect Chris he needs to steer clear of injury and improve vastly on his club form last season to be a proper out and out number one again..once you start getting injured as badly as he it almost becomes a habit...decent looking side but certainly not a guaranteed title winning one

Davey was No 1 at Lakeside & will now ride at an easier slot, Dak will still be a 2nd string so will maintain his average at least, Brady is an incredible talent & will do well, Shamek is pure quality most of the time & Chris just needs to steer clear of injury.

All considered I think that is a very very good team.

Fair enough, I had it in the back of my mind that Switerland were somehow not included in the ECHRs jurisdiction (and they are not full/proper members of the EU) - either made it up or probably got it mixed up with something else!

Very very good?....OTT...Dak will not maintain his average Holder needs to greatly up his leagues form from last year Kurtz is a good talent..incredible?...thats a strong statement...Shamek is a nowhere near where he should be and one that injures himself when he sneezes..dont get me wrong ive always rated him but i am concerned he has plateaued...DW has slipped gradually but a rider that i would have welcomed to Blunsdon with no doubt but to base that side as a definate title winning side is a bit strong

Depends on the reason for the delays and what people consider to be a reasonable time frame really but I don't think anybody who breaks laws or rules has much room to complain about when their hearing / trial is held. These things often get pushed back or adjourned, it's just how it is. Poole are hardly short of other options.

Given that Middlo was quoted in the Speedway Star saying "If Darcy is banned, he has a very good case to appeal it" and "the number of appeals Darcy could make is huge", you can hardly blame the FIM for ensuring that they are well prepared in advance of the hearing.

A trial is to determine whether somebody has broken the law or rules. Until then they are innocent until proven guilty. Could you imagine the country we'd live in if people could be punished without a trial?

If that's true then it's bang out of order. I hope Darcy takes them to the European Court of Human Rights as he is being stopped from seeking employment.

When did Australia become part of Europe? - I must have missed that announcement!

I am getting sick and tired of this just sell Ward on ffs

Would be a bit like trying to sell a car without an engine! Who would part with cash for him until they know his fate?

I hope they have a recording of his interview on the tele where he admits his guilt then :D

Darcy has no appeal for the time it has taken to be heard. Due to no time scale being listed you cant appeal how long it has lasted. Even if you did appeal and then lose the sentance would more than likely be increased. Let just take on board the fact the FIM just are plain rubbish and a bunch of idiots :D

You obviously missed the rest of the thread as well. :o

So what point are you trying to make?

You do realise that the ECHR has nothing to do with the EU?

If you had taken the time to actually read who and what I was replying to, rather than just spouting nonsense, you will have seen I was replying to the poster who said Switzerland was in the EU. :t:
