Star Lady
They do that what I don't get. Except if there are two Ps and two Os in the team name. clause 225z 3b from the dorset rulebook
SCB
thought they had to ride a number of meetings for a team to become an asset? Unless you buy them off the club that they have ridden enough meetings for.
Trees
Or whatever they did with Isle of Wight and Chris Holder?
SCB
Or whatever they did with Isle of Wight and Chris Holder? Exactly what I said. Waited for him to do his 12 meeting for IoW then "bought" him from them. Did the same with Doyle and Tomas Suchanek too.
g13webb
How does the VISA issue effect the old asset rules? Now that the Home Office needs assurances from Clubs that they can guarantee their own riders a team place, surely this puts a stop to certain Clubs buying every Tom Dick and Harry?? foreverblue
Except if there are two Ps and two Os in the team name. clause 225z 3b from the dorset rulebook Any club can buy a rider from another club and make them their asset. The rider would already be an asset of the selling club.
pointsmeanplayoffs
Since when can any Aussie double up? I thought the Visa ruling stated that no Aussie can double up, now Sam Masters is riding for Edinburgh AND Leicester, and there is talk of Brady Kurtz and Jack Holder getting DUP roles in the EL? Nothing against it, just want clarity! Please help!
Bagpuss
Kurtz has dual citizenship I believe? No idea on the other two, their Poole/Edinburgh connections perhaps Edited May 28, 2015 by Gordon Bennett
pointsmeanplayoffs
How come Lewis Kerr is now ranked No.3 when it comes to the draft list? He was No.1 at the start of the season when the seedings were developed based upon PL av. Now, Kerr (7.81 PL av.) is ranked 3 behind Garrity (6.75 PL av.) and Newman (7.44 PL av.) and his PL av. is still higher than both?!? Are they now based upon their EL av.? SCB
How come Lewis Kerr is now ranked No.3 when it comes to the draft list? Are they now based upon their EL av.? Correct. It's sensibly, based on EL average.

There EL average is now also considered which is how it should be. Jason Garrity's is 7.45 Kyle Newman's is 7.06 so Kerr's must be lower than that. Garrity has been winning a lot of races and had a full max at Belle Vue which would have upped his average. Star Lady
If Lynn made a 28day signing could they dispose of him before the 28 days were up if they wished to redeclare the team. Where's SCB when you need an answer
Bagpuss
Ah so it was just PL averages for the draft? That suited Poole down to the ground after all.

The whole point about seeding riders in a draft is a nonsense. You seed the teams to declare their picking order, and then it's up to them. The 'PL seeding' was only put in place to shaft Lynn so that we couldn't have Kerr and Rose. It's a vendetta against King's Lynn Speedway I tell you, a vendetta!
