SteveLyric2
Its an either or (May/July) , if you read a note at the bottom of the Fixtures. Does seem a strange one though to have Poole at home twice inside a few days. Having the fixtures out brings it all a step closer. When is Easter this Year ? ( as in date wise) Good Friday April 3rd - hence all the meetings (10).
semion
Gotcha now. I just looked at EDP website to get the Lynn fixtures. Are the Premier League fixtures out as well ?

semion
Hope we get some decent weather in March. Saddlebow always seems 5degrees colder than the rest of Norfolk

tellboy
Just book ya holidays!!! I'm no Boro fan, are you? No I certainly am no Borough fan. Only get 17 days hols to use so sometimes feel its a waste just to use on speedway.
A ORLOV
March 31st Kings Lynn v Poole is the first EL meeting of 2015 to be shown on SKY for those that cannot attend.
kelvinht
Do we really want to go to NA twice in 5 days to watch KL v Poole? Hope one is rained off so the meets are spread better through the season. Crazy planning.....made worse by the fact that league meet is now on sky - so can't really move either date! mrss
I will happily go to watch Poole at lynn twice in 5 days. Iversen v holder should be entertaining.
Bagpuss
Not for me. Will bin off the tarted up challenge match and wait for the EL meeting.
Haza
Not for me. Will bin off the tarted up challenge match and wait for the EL meeting. I will have some of both won't worry me in the slightest - but there is a way you can watch both meetings go to the Elite Sheild meeting and watch the league meeting on Sky Sports - but after a long winter I find it hard to believe that anyone wouldn't want to watch Poole at Kings Lynn a Poole side with Holder and looking more likely that Ward will be riding meetings don't get much better than this .
Bagpuss
Fair enough, it's all down to personal choice. The fact that the league match is on Sky explains why the two meetings are so close together but then we have another fixture two days later against Lakeside and as I don't have Sky Sports it will mean picking and choosing, especially with Lynn at Lakeside day after too. Just don't think supporters are thought about enough.
Haza
So with the news coming out of Australia late last night about Australians and non EU riders not being able to race in the UK I've heard it may affect 25 riders am told it won't affect our our captain Rory . Bagpuss
Rory is married to an English girl so all good. Poor old Kozza might be forced out again though depending on how things pan out.
g13webb
You can never satisfy everybody, ALL of the time. We will always get posters moaning about something. When people sit down and sort out these fixtures, there must be a minefield to manipulate dates of availability, specially with riders racing in different countries. so if that means we have 3 meeting close together, then so what....... I say bring them on, more the merrier.. Its been a long winter and can't wait for the season to start. Am disappointed though. that when away on our August holiday, I will miss 3 meetings, but that's my fault. I could have waited for the fixtures to be out , but then the holiday would be more expensive....
Bagpuss
Quite right GRW, you can't please everyone. But in my mind having three home meetings in eight days, two against the same team, and then a localish away match on day nine is going to put several people off. I understand we are playing to the tune of foreign riders and fixtures and this will always be the case until we have one particular race day if that ever happens.
ivanhoward
Where can this news about Aussies and non EU riders be found?

Sky wanted Poole to host Kings Lynn on Monday 30th March as well, so that both meetings could be televised - but Poole refused. Hence that fixture is still tbc.
