Starboy118
Why would Buster give a discount with a season ticket ? He knows his fan base he knows 99% of his fan base turn up for each meeting with most paying the £17 to get in so to me it makes no financial sense to let fans buy season tickets at a reduced price per meeting ok Buster would have more money up front but he knows fans will turn up and pay on the gate and most paying full wack .Bassicly he doesn't want to sell season tickets or they would offer a good saving he wants fans to pay the £17 . Buster runs a sussecful club on sound financial ground i for one can't fault that Why offer them then and why would anyone in their right mind buy one? lynnboy
Only reason I brought one last year is because I hate queing to get in. But I'm sure I only got one meeting free by buying it and still had to pay to get in for the play offs so no value for money compared to other tracks. They should of least give you a free program as well
pointsmeanplayoffs
Most other teams are not on as sound financial footing as Stars are so maybe season ticket sales are not as important to Buster. Last year it did work out that you got a 'free' home meeting. Hopefully we'll have some details of the big 50th season celebration plans soon... semion
Just had a quick nose at the Premier League teams for 2015 and I see that Lewis Kerr appears to be going to ride at Number 0ne for Newcastle, on a circa 7.5 average. Is he ready for that ? and If it doesnt work out for him will it rebound on the Stars with regard to confidence etc ?
ivanhoward
From the information that I have managed to find Lewis Kerr's record against opposing No 1's last season was quite good. In matches at Newcastle he beat the away team's No 1 8 times out of 13 races. On away tracks he beat the home team No 1 5 times out of 11 races. castrolargh
I think steve worral has a higher average doesn't he?
tellboy
I think steve worral has a higher average doesn't he? No. Kerr 7.54 Worrall 7.
ivanhoward
What has Steve Worrall got to do with this?
tellboy
What has Steve Worrall got to do with this? Obviously as Castrolargh thought he had a higher average than Kerr.If this was the case then he wouldn't have been riding at no1 for Newcastle. ivanhoward
I see now why Worrall was mentioned. Castrolargh only needed to look at the Premier League signings to find this out. Also as Newcastle only have 6.18 points remaining to fill their final place Kerr will have to be at No.1 at least to start the season

Hazza29
Kerr will be a great number 1 in the prem! The boy just gets better and better ever season! You just wait and see!
Bagpuss
I think Tom Stokes has a big future and is probably the best option around the Norfolk Arena, I just wonder of this opportunity might be a year too early for him. Great to see yet another homegrown NL product on the cusp of the senior team though.
SteveLyric2
Stokes in Contention http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/motorsport/420662/King-s-Lynn-Tom-Stokes Must be true then as its by Peter Oakes - just like last week's article on Darcy Ward!! BluPanther
Poole at home on consecutive weeks in March #greatplanning March 26th is Elite Shield.. and March 31st, May 28th and July 1st according to website. How can they have three home meetings in the League against Poole, or have i missed something
ivanhoward
May 28th is shown as a reserved date for King's Lynn on the British speedway official website. Perhaps Lynn are trying to re-arrange the March 31st date to May28th which would seem much better.
semion
Its an either or (May/July) , if you read a note at the bottom of the Fixtures. Does seem a strange one though to have Poole at home twice inside a few days. Having the fixtures out brings it all a step closer. When is Easter this Year ? ( as in date wise)
