Ive had a thought over Christmas what if Lewis Rose just doesn't perform for Swindon the travelling for one could be a major issue - also traveling up to Newcastel in the PL what if Lewis has a bad start to the season and after say 6 weeks Swindon drop him do the rules allow the Stars to re sign him ? and drop whoever we use at 7 . I,m not suggesting anything under hand but this could happen Lewis was settled and happy at Kings Lynn it could affect his form .

I,m not suggesting anything under hand I,m just saying Lewis was more than happy at King Lynn it may be a step to far .

Lets hope that doesn't happen as there's enough average bending in the sport as it is!!!

I totally agree all I,m asking is could Kings Lynn re- sign Lewis if Swindon dropped him is it within the rules of fast track that's all I,m saying .

Will never happen, as Swindon will stick with their two reserves in 2015 come what may IMO. Rosco may well bring out the best in Rose next season, which could benefit Lynn in the long term..

I do know Lewis was happy to sign for Swindon as he still has family done that way (Reading area) and also his engine tuner is down there too

Now back to the darts

that's answers the question then I,m sure Lewis will do well for the Robins and yes back to the darts but roll on March -

I too would go with Stokes but we'll have huge issues if he was to get injured as he'd be so far down the 2nd tier list it's very very risky.

No doubt you'll correct me if I'm wrong, but I was, of the impression there was no grading lists of FTR, purely 2 groups of riders Tier:1 and Tier:2 looked upon as equals. When someone gets injured he can be replaced by AN Other from that same tier of riders........

When I questioned the order of the riders in the selection process of the FTR, and asked if injury replacement would be covered by that same criteria, I was informed that all riders in a said group would be looked at as equals and all could be used as injury cover.

Shame they didn't think that when the selection was done........

Any word on season ticket packages for this season yet?

It sounds like general admission prices are to increase, upto £17 I'd imagine in line with the rest of the EL teams (remember we don't pay for parking).

14 home meetings, £17 * 14 = £238 so £199 for a season ticket sounds OK to me. Good psychological price point too. Even better if they throw in a free race card....

Its a shame you cant buy a block of say 10 meetings to be used throughout the season. From a personal point of view I could never buy a season ticket, as I will always miss at least one meeting, and you couldnt pay me now to turn up there on a wet night. For me, a block of 10/12 tickets for be something id jump all over.

Our season tickets have never been good value unfortunately.

Normally just missing one meeting means you lose any potential saving. When you rule in possibility of work/holiday/illness it's just not worth it.

If they threw in free or discounted entry to NL meetings or a programme it might be different. Thinking about it, probably best not to get me started on our shambles of a programme!!

I for one, don't want to knock Buster, as he appears to be one of the few promoters running a club in a viable manner. But saying that, I too would have thought a scheme of 'Block bookings', say 10/12 meetings would be a brilliant idea. Also agree that Season ticket holders should have more benefits than that on offer. Someone who's prepared to fork out £200 odd quid should be given the run of the place that would include all Meetings, Press day, Practises, NL and all the programmes.

Make them feel important.... :t:

I agree, maybe even let them ride in heat 15 if the win is already secured?

I have never seen the point in buying a season ticket. I have two at NCFC and apart from the obvious advantage of guaranteeing your seats, there is also a significant financial saving over paying for each game on an individual basis.

Why would Buster give a discount with a season ticket ? He knows his fan base he knows 99% of his fan base turn up for each meeting with most paying the £17 to get in so to me it makes no financial sense to let fans buy season tickets at a reduced price per meeting ok Buster would have more money up front but he knows fans will turn up and pay on the gate and most paying full wack .Bassicly he doesn't want to sell season tickets or they would offer a good saving he wants fans to pay the £17 . Buster runs a sussecful club on sound financial ground i for one can't fault that
