g13webb
I see it as more under the control of the BSPA, not Buster himself. Buster is providing the facilities, and of course charging a fee, but there should be some kind of development team available... People Like Phil Morris. But you know how these things can be twisted to suit whoever......
semion
As has always been the way in Speedway. I just feel the BSPA should look at the bigger picture. The trouble is whenever money is needed in the Sport, the BSPA shy away from it. Its always all about today, and sod tomorrow.
Bagpuss
What better track to train the next batch of youngsters on than the one which holds our SWC round each year.

T.N.T.
Why? Didn't several teams have a pick before us ? They could have quite easily picked Starke. So we got first pick in the second section of the draft, right? You did, on the basis that Newman's PL average was the lowest of all the category 1 riders. Poole got 2nd pick, Swindon had first pick. Wolverhampton had first pick as Lakeside had protected Adam Ellis and for some reason Wolves picked Josh Bates rather than Monmore specialist Paul Starke or the in form Lewis Rose or James Sarjeant leaving Poole the next pick who got Starke followed by Swindon (Rose) and Coventry (Sarjeant) TIER 2 Ashley Morris Dan Halsey Ben Morley Benji Compton Max Clegg Tom Perry James Cockle Ben Hopwood Dan Greenwood Nathan Greaves From that list I would seriously forget Ashley Morris as he still hasn't got clearance to ride again yet after bad injuries last season and would have thought Clegg or Greaves are the outstanding riders but isn't James Cockle a former Kings Lynn rider ? Surprised Dan Greenwood is on there and not Oliver or Liam Carr.
Bagpuss
Final year in 2015? Wouldn't be a bad thing to be honest mate, I think it's gotten a bit stale at Lynn.

Trees
Why not I wonder? So, if you were organising a 50th anniversary meeting, what and who would you like to see racing/riding/being presented at Lynn
Bagpuss
I thought the format for the 40th anniversary meeting was good, Stars v Knights. You could have the current seven as Stars versus a Knights team full of ex riders like Nicky P, Ward, Rose, Mads, Olly, Kozza, Magic, Wolbert etc and get as many retired former Lynn riders there as you could too. Trees
Stars Pairs would be interesting? My mate suggested they use the old retro original race jackets for next year, I like that idea, retro is good! Of course I would LOVE if they used the old march out music in 2015, even do the march out of the track staff and riders at the start of the meeting :-) Go retro for the year :-)
YerRopes
Well done KL for going with 6 of the 7 from last year, I'm sure that is something the fans can relate too.. And good luck on your second FTR

The old race jackets would be awesome. You could raffle them off too? Also, what about a bit of a stars hall of fame? We could have plaques/photos put up in the new bar? or hang signs up around the stadium like they do in the USA when teams retire shirt numbers? Could make a big deal about inducting former riders and you could get it sponsored by local companies?

Also if they do more construction work on the back straight stand, make it possible for the fans to buy souvenir bricks. Saddlebow Road in it's various guises has been a massive part of mine and my families life for the past 40 years so would love to be able to have a permanent memento of that. semion
Bricks along the back straight ? Have you been in the loo there ? Loving the idea of the Retro Team Bibs. Would be good to see parts of the old Programmes re-produced into the new one as well. First 5 hall of famers for me would be.
