g13webb
For me Kenneth has to be in the team he has no SGP for starters though I guess he will do the qualifiers for 2016 season last season as it started he was getting over a broken leg then hit form and broke his collar bone again just got his confidence back and crashed again at the Vojens Gp given a clear run of injuries he could challenge Puk at No1 position he's a proven rider we have to include him - as for Rory he offers more to the team than points scored for me if we keep the same top 5 he's the only captain in that 5 in fact I think he's one of the best captain the club has ever had as for points scored he does disappoint at times he can beat the best but lose to the worst . On to Robert if only he could gate but at 17 can't really see the club leaving him out ,same for Porsing if we don't use him others will he's done the ground work over here he will push on I think - as for Niels if he's not in the team we need someone very special to fill his shoes . I think it's a dead cert stay as you are top 5 all the 5 have something to offer the team can't see it changing . Yeah, I'm of similar feelings and think, given the rub of the green we can compete for honours with confidence. Porsing experimented with machinery last year and lost this way a bit , but once back he showed he is there to be reckoned with. Like you say Robert has to learn to gate. but again goes very quick when out front. Seeing there are quite a few teams signing riders, and the fact none of last years 1 to 5 have been mentioned elsewhere, it doesn't take an Einstein to arrive at the conclusion that the Stars will be as last year... Holding the meeting at the new bar facilities at the track will cure the car park problems, just hope there's enough chairs......
semion
I cannot see why Buster would hold a meeting to introduce the same 5 riders as last year. No disrespect to Young Joe Jacobs but to arrange a meeting where he is the only new rider sounds a bit of a damp squid. I am convinced there will be another new rider, but who ? I am convinced there will be another new rider, but who ? to sell several pints of beer in the bar maybe ? Perhaps to sell season tickets ? To announce plans for our 50th season . On a December Tuesday night I'd guess the bar would stand empty so what has Buster to lose by having a get together - me personally I won't be going as more or less pointless going as moments after the team being announced details will be on Twitter . pointsmeanplayoffs
I can see the price going up to £17 a meeting, which can only be expected if we are to track riders of the calibre (cost!) of Niels and Kenneth. Would be interested to hear what the situation with season tickets is, is there that much of a saving?
stratton
Piotr was the most impressive visitor at Lynn last year, twice! Seems to love our track. And they were his first two visits as far as I'm aware.A GP rider for sure, whoever gets him it will be great for British speedway to see him again for me the biggest Polish prospect out there and there are a few to choose from.
mrss
I hope admission price doesn't go up as there are less meetings this year so less points money and expenses for the club to pay out.

tellboy
Robert Lambert signs for the Panthers for the 2015 season. Hopefully just as a d/u He needs more meetings to gain experience on various tracks and hopefully this move will benefit Kings Lynn and Peterborough.Unfortunately the BSPA blocked him gaining some vital experience last year. bigcatdiary
think that signing has all but confirmed the Stars team straight swap Robert for Mads the other 4 members as 2014 . I don't see why anyone in their right mind would swap Lambert for Mads, I expect him to double up. I can see him doing very well on the Showground, excellent signing.
pointsmeanplayoffs
think that signing has all but confirmed the Stars team straight swap Robert for Mads the other 4 members as 2014 . That doesn't fit though does it? Put's it just over at 34.29 Why does Robert signing for Panthers mean he is not in the Lynn 1-5? Surely he can d/up. If Mads is coming back, then I think it's him or Porsing. Will they be buying him ? I hope they aint going to be taking him on loan year after year. I'd imagine that the Lambert deal has something in there about letting us keep Niels and Kenneth again for 2015. I hope so anyway.
bigcatdiary
Will they be buying him ? I hope they aint going to be taking him on loan year after year. No it appears it's a part exchange, we get Lambert and 20k and you get the play off specialist Kenneth BJERRE and another years loan for Iversen I'd imagine that the Lambert deal has something in there about letting us keep Niels and Kenneth again for 2015. I hope so anyway. It makes perfect sense to me.
g13webb
With Lambert doing more meetings, one can envisage it will improve his gating. Once that is sorted he could easily become one of the top dog in the Premier League. and that indirectly will benefit Lynn Stars..... Good Move .
