SCB
The only reason the points limit has been raised is due to the increase in averages for the second strings. But thats bullrubbish, as the extra points second strings scored was cancelled out by heatleaders scoring less. Only the BSPA could have half arsed logic like this. No doubt somebody has done their sums to ensure no riders miss out on EL racing should they select it from 2014. I'm sure it is the official reason. But when you have people with that reasoning and logic running the sport you no longer have to question why the sport is in a mess. The points limit is at least a point too high, possibly 2. The BSPAs only saving grace so far is that Freddie is back but if Ward is banned, Kildemand stays away, Bridger sticks to his guns and retires and Woffy doesnt ride EL just where are clubs going to find replacements and the extra 2 points? We want the option of bring any top riders back tho right? I am hoping that is the only real logic. We all know that the sport is run shambolically. Even if Ward is banned for a year which in my opinion is the most likely outcome then he could come back mid august, Holder has said he is available and so has Janowski, Poole can't fit them all in so someone will be available at some point in the season although maybe not at the start. Janowski was in the league last year so included in the figures. So ok we lose Ward and PK and get Holder and Freddie. Whos replacing Pedersen, Woffy and Bridger and finding every team on average 1.5 points? AJ for Lakeside maybe but you're still 9 points short plus need to replace Pedersen and Woffy. Don't put Bridger in the same sentence as Woffy or even Bjarne, he is not in the same class. I don't think he is much of a loss, Woffy would be a big loss and Bjarne to a lesser degree but last season Poole had Gracjzoneck and Milik and pretty sure we won't be keeping both and what about Shamek Pawlicki,

Again, Gracjzoneck, Milik and Pawlicki were all included in the figures. Forgot about baby-Pawlicki, there another 7.7 points that need replacing. Riders come and go every year. baby pawlicki may return and he didnt finish the season here anyway, why shouldnt other riders come here or return here like walasek or proctor or leon madsen. I know they do. But my point is there are not the riders out there to make up 8 teams to a 34 point limit. No Pawlicki, Woffy, Ward and Pedersen. And all replaced so far by Lindgren and Wozniak. Ah yes but all/any of those could now share a position and only commit to half the fixtures...........................................................except Woffy!! Speedball
No surprise to see Kerr protected in Tier 1. Now to see who we get in Tier 2!

castrolargh
Welcome back lewis, and welcome Joe, its a pity we couldn't keep lewis rose as well, but sure Joe will be fine. Just had a quick look at some of joe's scores at the tail end of last season home and away for wolves and he looks to have been quite solid , so all in all not a bad signing . Woz01
Considering you had last pick in round 2 Joe Jacobs is a good pick! If we missed out on Sarjeant I'd have been happy to have him.
semion
Really disappointed Team Lewis had to be spilt ( though we knew it was gonna happen). Still think its a mistake not protecting the Rose. Shame he wasnt an endangered species. I think 2015 could be the year we really see him BLOOM. That is it from me on this one, to much of a prickly subject. I just hope he doesnt come back to be a thorn in our side.. I'll get me coat
foreverblue
Dont think anyone should be disappointed with Jacobs, potentially a very good rider from what i've seen.
Greg
We got a great pair gutted to see Lewis Rose go but i'm sure that will not be the last we see of him and Little Joe is a great rider.
tellboy
Reasonably happy with the outcome of our FTRs. Although on the Lynn website Rob has quoted that if there are any fixture clashes involving Jacobs we will not get priority as he is not our asset.
