MrMungo
Well I heard Poole are one of the worse payers in league but they pay riders virtually after exvery meeting which is what riders want Poole are definitely not one of the worst payers in my experience
SteveLyric2
Poole pay what Poole can afford - something all clubs should strive to do - and they pay regularly and promptly.
LisaColette
Poole are definitely not one of the worst payers in my experienceNot the worst, but not the best. A few riders have been offered more money by other clubs but they chose Poole.
Gemini
Its not about bigger pockets - its about guaranteed, regular payment of wages etc and a bit of mutual respect. When you hear of certain riders in one of the other play-off teams not having been paid for 8 weeks, its not surprising that riders want to ride for a club that actually provides what it is contracted to provide - whether it be directly by the club or indirectly via club sponsors. So let's narrow this down a bit being as you seem to be in the know. Obviously not Poole because they do everything by the book so that leaves Coventry, Swindon and Belle Vue. Won't be Coventry because Hans would be on Twitter within seconds of not being paid which leaves either Swindon, who already have a bit of a reputation for not paying riders, or Belle Vue. Mmmmmm.....wonder which one.

Mmmmmm.....wonder which one. BV, Coventry and Swindon have all been "slow" payers in recent times! There's one rider who's has trouble with all 3 - but then maybe he's just unlucky, or expects money unusually quick (but then he did get ripped off in the past by a club so I don't blame him) Edited September 12, 2015 by SCB
Aces51
Or maybe it's just another rumour.
mdmc82
Or maybe it's just another rumour.Exactly. There have been rumours about Swindon at the start of the season however there riders would have said, as Hans did when there. They also wouldn't have got Ward if not paying. Look at who the new rumour has been suggested by in here. Sounds like a Poole fan trying to stir things up a bit 😉 Edited September 13, 2015 by mdmc82
ivanhoward
As seems to have been the norm this year there is still no news forthcoming about a possible 50th anniversary meeting. Does anyone have any information?

kelvinht
I'm not holding my breath for a meeting actually taking place. Been a damp squib of 50 year celebration this year, don't expect it to finish any better
Star Lady
The PR chap tried to tell some of us on Twitter that it wasn't 50 years despite advertising T shirts with the 50 logo on. Smacks of the right hand not knowing what the hell the left hand is doing . Very sad to see IMHO
StarCrazy
The PR chap tried to tell some of us on Twitter that it wasn't 50 years despite advertising T shirts with the 50 logo on. Speedball said on twitter that it is 50 years, but its not 50 seasons. I think thats what he was referring to.
mrss
No point in having a meeting now. To long a break since last meeting fans have lost interest.
