Kings Lynn 2015

I have to say I'm with Trees on this one. It's about 50 years of speedway at Lynn not about foreigners who fly into the UK pick up a pay cheque and fly out again. Lynn have survived 50 years and several near closures (and one that did happen) and they haven't done that by splashing the cash. I can't see a massive crowd anyway so keep it to a celebration, if indeed it is to be this year.

I declare now that if it's an evening meeting I probably won't go (too cold) but if it something along the lines Trees suggest and is afternoon I probably will. Not that my entrance pittance will influence things one way or another :D

Is this the same Chapman Jr who was constantly overspending someone else's money? Is that the reason he was outed? He did the same at the football club!

I would like to see more entertainment off track, but surely the main event is the 15 heats. What would you like to see?

I can confirm it was a decision which was made by myself with no influencing factors, I simply choose to pursue a career in professional business services which has thankfully worked out well for me. Due to my career it is a shame I do not get a chance to be involved with the club or watch the racing regularly, however I do still have fond memories and hope that the current issues/problems are sorted to the satisfaction of the people who matter the most... the fans.

ps i would invite star crazy to log in under his real name rather than an alias if he wishes for his posts to have any fraction of credit in the future

Looks like the season is over for the Stars. Every year I convince myself this is the season we will win the top league. Every year I end up disappointed . Stars management stayed to loyal to certain riders this season and its cost us dear. Perhaps next season will be the one.

No play-offs for Lynn, you can always come to the Showground to see the play offs.

True no play-offs for Lynn, but whats the point of being in them if you don't win it.Which I'm afraid is exactly whats going to happen to Peterborough

Failure. Overhaul required.

Think though our failure started when Kerr got injured.Unfortunately as a FTR you cant replace these like for like so this kind of failure needs to be looked at,at the AGM.

OK there could of been other changes but this one has cost us dear i'm afraid(the loss of Kerr)

How about the dismal away form? Bjerre lasting the season is unbelievable.

Iversen and Lambert to return, other than that the rest of the team can be replaced, doubt Kerr will be ready by March and Schlein i don't think will be riding next year.

Kerr said he will be back next season.

Will Lambert be back?

Undoubtedly Bjerre was poor, but the FTR's have such an impact on results nowadays I feel we really missed him towards the end.

Regardless of what league we race next year, I wouldn't bet money on Lambert riding for Lynn.:wink:

We will see......,

Not overly upset by tonights results. It was an outside chance that Belle Vue would have lost with the form they are in. I had resigned myself to us missing out on the playoffs. I agree with some comments on here, but I think losing Rory cost us the most, at the time of his injury, he was challenging Niels for the number one spot.

We've only really had one heat leader in the team since then, and you can't win away with one heat leader. I will be going on Wednesday to get behind the team, mainly Robert, Nicklas and Ashley, they have given a lot to the team this year and not really done a lot wrong for us. Come on boys, lets end with a win.
