Baldyman
But even if it's short term. Who would do it after? Only someone with plenty of spare time and a few quid in the bank could afford to do it. On a different note. Looks like morten is doing pretty poor at Plymouth. So 4 expect to see him back as a witch next season.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Although so long as anyone rides a full season whatever they have done til now will not matter. 20 match rolling average and still 20+ matches to go.
Baldyman
Nico is out of the gp qualifiers then.
Bash
On a different note. Looks like morten is doing pretty poor at Plymouth. So 4 expect to see him back as a witch next season. Just goes to prove when he was riding for us against poor Plymouth teams he could score lots of points there. Now he is up against decent riders from the opposition he's not doing very well at home. He'll be a good reserve for us next season.
ZODIAK
Not convinced about the fascination with King - maybe it's a romantic view of the past? Wells would be the type of "aggressive" rider needed, and alongside Worrall would make an interesting top two. Definitely not Risager. He's proved he can ride more consistently, but still can't handle tracks like Somerset, Scunthorpe & Sheffield. If he's got the ambition he claims, then a change to a track that needs the back wheel out in the dirt will be a sensible move for him. In a similar way, that applies to Tungate - a talented motorcyclist who has lost his way, so a change will do him good. Absolutely all about opinions. I'd take Lawson ahead of Tungate - maybe it would suit Lawson to ride at Foxhall on a Thursday and Lakeside on a Friday? Well, on the odd occasions when both teams have home fixtures the same week King is simply another hark back to the past - and not a great past. No matter how good a rider King might be, I don't know if he will be that catalyst the Witches set-up needs to help it get over the big match finishing line. Diddly Squat is unfair. High league finish and KOC-Up finalists is better than most teams. If the PL title, League Cup, KOC-Up, and 4TT were shared between four different winners, there would still be twice as many teams with Diddly Squat. It's the "nearly" factor that's frustrating. I agree. He has been loyal to Ipswich and improved every year. But he is not yet an out & out No 1. If I remember correctly, at the beginning of the season Chris Louis said that he had got 3 year work visa's for Rohan & Cameron, at some expence, aswell. Does that mean that they can only race for the club that obtained the visa's ? As some others have said, I am also not convinced that Danny King will be the answer. I'm not sure where all the fuss about Danny King comes from. I think I would stick with Tungate over King & I think Rohan has improvement left in him & King is at his level & could easily see his average drop. Other than that Gino & Cam have got to stay I'd go for Rohan Richie W Gino Cam & Ruml as a top 5 but not sure what that would leave from the bottom end. I said the same about King, but he is definitely flavour of the month. Can't see the top five that you name as being anywhere near strong enough. Wells instead of Ruml would be a huge difference. Have a few hours to kill so thought I'd look back over the Ipswich 2015 thread. Now this is nothing to do with hindsight as I said the same at the time. I was baffled at the luke warm response at the prospect of signing King during the winter. He was never going to be anything else other than an excellent number 1 in this league and a heavy points scorer. Where has Lovey gone by the way?? Good job you're not the promoter Lovey! As we would have passed up King and gone with an awesome top two of R Worrall and Ricky Wells!
iandean3
I will happily admit I was wrong. Danny King is a very good signing. Hopefully last night is the start of a good run for the team. Better to start slow and finish strong, than the other way round as we have done in the past.
Super Blue
Danny King is pretty much the first and only true out and out No1 we've had since we've dropped down to the premier league . A leader that can actually go out a win a few Ht1's , Im very glad we got him on board . On the rest of the current team so far this year , Gino , injury hampered but lots of potential hopefully now improving . Cam , slow start also injury problems , need to step it up on his return . Ritchie , injury and bike issues , new engine on the way and hopefully more points ? Nico , as I said heat leader in reserve position , ,great value , great signing ! Stefan , doing pretty much what's expected of a reserve , scoring a few here and there . Rohan , either brilliant or rubbish , still not sure how the hell he got an 8+ average considering the lines he rides at Foxhall . Can't quite work him out im afraid . Overall teamwise a poor start to the season but on the up now ? Time will tell .
Baldyman
So we should start moving up the table now. the next few home matches should be wins, first real test at home will be against Edinburgh mid July. Superblue. On nico. I think it was lucky that the big brown envelope was offered to us. Edited May 31, 2015 by CWABH the idiot

Super Blue
Looking at the scenarios , if GB reach the final at first attempt Danny probably will miss both our meetings because no doubt Friday will be a practice day , if they don't then Thursday is run off and would he make it back for friday if we don't make it through , not sure ? At least Ginos position is more likely to be clear , even with Greg in the team I doubt USA would finish top 2 in the qualifier so he should be around for both our meetings . Either way I hope we can secure a good guest and not get one on the cheap , im planning on doing Newcastle at home and Peterborough away and don't want to be short changed as they say ! dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I think Mr Beerhut got it right in an earlier post. Riders 'sign in' for the week. If GB go straight to the final Danny will miss both even though the final diesnt clash. He wont be allowed to ride for the Witches in between. Also dont 2nd and 3rd go to race off? So unless GB or the US finish last both will still be involved past Thursday and Danny and Gino will miss at least the home match.
Baldyman
Missing Danny and gino at home is a problem. Missing Danny at Peterborough is a problem but missing gino at Peterborough may Be a bonus. Not one of his finest tracks so far. I doubt any guest could equal Danny's at either track. So I would imagine we will lose at Peterborough but should be okay against Newcastle. Edited June 4, 2015 by CWABH the idiot
