Know updates gave a promising report on lambert, was he on the pace etc?

Yeah he was, but when he didnt gate in his last heat, as with the others the track didn't allow a line to overtake. Quick when in front and had a great race with Barker, neither giving an inch but Barker pushed him a bit wide and Lambert fell. Pity he will be missing on Good Friday but thats good news for the Witches scores! ;)

Oh well, sausage it is then.

Oh er missus!

We will and as I said on the meeting thread, Hawkins has been a key rider in our wins at Rye last season.

Having said that, Heeps and the two reserves isn't bad cover for him so fingers crossed we don't miss him too much.

Good news that he isn't out too long though so that's a positive.

Last nights meeting did follow a familiar pattern for our away trips.

Generally in the mix but have a run of 3-4 heats where we implode and give ourselves a mountain to climb. Take 4,5,6 (14-3) out of the equation last night and its a comfotable win.

Sorting this out could be the key to any success.

I don't care if it's his first meeting in charge, new manager clueless

I did say it was time to 'employ' an experienced TM and not go down the cheap route of a 'willing volunteer' yet again! As the saying goes - Pay peanuts (or £0) and you know what you get.

Let's hope things improve next week...............

Was thinking the same thing myself!

A little forethought and the idea of losing potential customers to the much more popular football means common sense has prevailsed. I would have thought the crowd will now be around the usual kind of numbers for a bank holiday meeting.

Looking forward to attending both!
