dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
If Wethers is not allowed in it raises questions about Cam Heeps and Christian Henry No question re Cam - he has residency rights via family history and even if they were revoked he is WA state champion. I've obviously not gone into as much of the nitty gritty as alot of others clearly have but it springs to my mind that in most other sports if you compete at the highest levels for your country of origin that usually qualifies you for a visa. With Gino having been a representative for the USA in last years World Cup does that not have an impact somehow? Forgive me if this has already been covered elsewhere but going through all the pages/arguments on the visa issues is becoming quite mind numbing. Under currently visable criteria the WC place means nothing. What is not clear/been made public is whether there has been any revision of the criteria following the recent meetings with UKVI. A WC place COULD now be enough, bonus points COULD be included, it COULD be all 2014 fixtures not just rolling average,it COULD be state champsionships from further back than 1 year. Will just have to wait abd see and deal with whatever the REAL situation turns out to be

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Care to explain?i think frostylion (and others going by other theads) are aware that revisions to the criteria have been made following the BSPA workshops/meeting with UKVI.Its just that as yet us mere mortals dont know what they are! Baldyman
They wouldn't want the public to know about the revisions, as they might get caught out trying to bend the rules again in a season or two's time.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
To be fair I expect that once the 2015 regs are published they will include any updated info. Whilst it would be nice to know the details I suppose at present its just for those that need to know just like a number of other tweaks!! Super Blue
So when are we going to hear officially then ref Rohan and Gino's visa's? If Mike Bacon is being told by CL that theres no issues why is it not being confirmed somewhere so we can all relax? Other teams appear to be able to update their fans! Super Blue
Side issue, just seen on twitter that in the World cup, Team GB will face Australia USA and Latvia at Kings Lynn. Would Gino be allowed to ride in this if he's refused a visa for us?
Baldyman
Didn't we have Australia and usa last year aswell?
Bagpuss
We did, Latvia will be a big improvement on Italy but its all a bit samey and we have the prospect of Hancock gating his way to another hatful of points. Disappointing.

Roland
Getting away from the visa fiasco, has PC Phil decided who his skipper is going to be? Personally I would stick with Ritchie and let Danny get on with being No.1.......discuss. The boy is well liked within the team and in the crowd a nice lad and did a cracking job last year.
mdmc82
With King now being a BSPA asset, will Ipswich or Coventry get priority over his fixtures when there are clashes?
ZODIAK
With King now being a BSPA asset, will Ipswich or Coventry get priority over his fixtures when there are clashes?Nobody is sure yet, even Chris Louis wasn't sure a month or so ago. As for the captain, King for me. Hawkins done a good job last year granted, but I've always preferred to have your top man leading the team. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Stick with Ritchie as captain IMO With King I would hope and expect the Witches get priority. It called double UP after all.

It called double UP after all. Nobody seems too sure, even promoters. Some say PL like it always has been but some say it could be the league the rider was a asset of which would be EL. With Birmingham no longer in the EL though, I would imagine Ipswich will get priority. Edited February 8, 2015 by mdmc82
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Its poor that it isnt clear to all. The fact that even Chris wasnt sure points to the fact that the situation was/is under review. You wouldve thought that shouldve been finalised at the AGM but seems not! We will all find out when the first clash occurs!
