Bash
I don't see how riding at number 5 is that much easier than riding at number 1. The number 5 still meets the opposition number 1 twice including heat 13,and can meet again if nominated for heat 15. Yes, he hasn't the pressure of heat 1 but that's it. So to say Rohan only has an average over 8 because he rode most of the season at the "easier" number 5 is rubbish IMO. It would be interesting to see what the averages would be with bonus points included like they used to be.
proud panther
Cardinal Sin, I will take a wild guess at Sissis/Castagne & Bates.
SCB
Cardinal Sin, I will take a wild guess at Sissis/Castagne & Bates. The two 5 pointers I thought of were Sissis and Castagna too. They don't seem to be linked anywhere either.
Pob
On the Witches own website showing the riders statistics up to Sep 30th Tungate had only picked up a total of 19 BP all season so would that really make that much of a difference to his average . He's bee quoted in the local paper that he wants to push his average next season to over 9 going on last years average's Home -8.42 and Away - 6.80 to do this he really must push it on when on the road away from foxhall . Yes he has done well the past two years he has been here and has improved his average every season but pushing it on over 9 in a very competitive league i don't know . smod
The Sheffield thread. But not the Sheffield promotion. Josh Bates is their asset, his uncle owns Sheffield and he's wintering in Australia at Sheffield's expense. You can forget him at Foxhall. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I cant see it being anything other than a new 5 pointer plus a 3. If its 2 at 4 points then the no Adam situation would be plain crazy. Also it needs to be a very special 5 pointer to make it justifiable IMO. Baldyman
Sissis would seem the most obvious choice, big risk though, but since Chris is building the club for the future, probably a risk worth taking, but with gino and cam middle order as we don't know Cameron will get back to his best, and a new 5 pointer and a 3 pointer, that's a lot of unknowns, who knows what the outcome of a meeting would be, but if it brings entertainment, bring it on Cardinal Sin, I will take a wild guess at Sissis/Castagne & Bates.Nothing wild bout those guesses, easily possible. Bash
Michael Haertel is another possibility on a 5pt ave.
Roland
If we're going down the German route, could get Daniel Spiller on a 3, he's actually English. Edited November 27, 2014 by Roland

MrMungo
Haven't heard of Daniel Spiller is he any good? Saw him once @ U19 Final at Coventry. Fell off in practice. Beat Ryan Terry Daley in first heat, then withdrew from meeting. Would be a good addition to the NL. PL? Less likely.

tone deaf
I go to Foxhall hoping to be entertained. Gino, Cam (towards the end of the season) and Ritchie provided me with most of my entertainment last season, so I'm certainly happy with that trio. Hopefully Danny and Rohan will provide a good top end. Fingers crossed that CL can find another Gino, unlikely but you never know. Totally agree with this. For effort & decent racing, Gino, Cam & Ritchie were the 3 I enjoyed watching & am happy to see them back. Unfortunately the trouble with speedway is that loyalty & commitment count for nothing. I thought Ritchie Hawkins was a good captain & rarely let us down last season but because he had a good season & his average is a bit high, the fans want to see him discarded. I would like to see the Witches win something next year but I also want to see a team of racers, not riders whose race is over if they don't gate. I wish the departing teams members well but can't get worked up about them not being part of the plans for next season.

Bash
He has had his chance over the last few seasons and only has an average of 3.04 enough said not good enough.
Pinny
I think a fully fit Lanham on a sub 5 ave on a track he knows well could be a very shrewd signing. His best days are long gone - we know that, but he still posted some big scores from the main body of the team on a track he has never been any good on in sheffield last season. Worth a shot
