TheScotsman
Team should have been good enough though - it certainly looked it at the start of the season. Tungate , heeps & Manzares let you down.
Bash
I'm sorry for the decent Ippo supporters. You're not sorry, every post on the Plymouth matches where they hoped Ipswich would be knocked out of the play-offs you liked. Our home form is what let us down this season, so now time to take stock and have a clear out for next season. Good luck to all the teams in the play-offs, even Edinburgh. TheScotsman
Not so. I am sorry for the decent Ippo supporters. I am sorry that they had tungate riding for their team. His actions made me, and many others I think, desperately want devils to succeed because I didn't think he was adequately dealt with. But that was not the fault of the decent supporters so I am sorry for them.

Hawk127
Sad but the reality is that it was not a team that rode as team. The chances of creating what had gone before with the current crop was and will never emulate what many teams had in years gone by. Good luck to all in the play offs and may each team have good close matches without the injuries that have plagued the sport this year, they all deserve to be in the final. As to the witches, like many it is a case of what the powers that be will come up with for 2016 as a formulae for the survival of speedway. Until then, enjoy what is left of the season

25yearfan
Oh well, 2015 has ended like all the previous PL campaigns for the Witches in failure when the team on paper looked capable! I'm afraid that messrs Heeps, Manzares and Tungate have had long enough to improve sufficiently but have only treaded water and now need to find other teams! Hopefully their will be big team changes at Foxhall next season with only King, Covatti and maybe the two reserves returning for 2016! Although I will say their has been some cracking racing this season at times at Foxhall!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
The margin between success and failure can be tiny and the 2015 Witches are a perfect example. We generally have an excellent side but who have on a few occaisions slipped just below the required standard. We never really managed to build any momentum before the next hiatus hit whether it be a poor performance, a new injury or an enforced break. The engine room at the start (Cam/Gino/Ritchie)needed to at least hold its own but unfortunately struggled. Notice the common link? Injury.... Each of them were hit early on and IMO that took its toll both physically and also in dealing with the extra demands r/r brings. Yes I am disappointed but it is also the frustration of knowing how close wecwere to being a top side. Sometimes though its just not meant to be. Agree with a few comments above that there has been plenty of great entertainment again this year. Nico to take a special bow there. Roll on 2016 - whatever it may bring. It will be an interesting winter. Maybe a few surprises????
ZODIAK
At least with the AGM brought forward this year, our intentions should me know fairly soon as to what our plans are. If its PL again next year, get King and Covatti signed up nice and early and then put the pieces of the jigsaw together from there. Fresh faces are a must. Travertine
Any chance of bringing the fours to Ipswich if the long-mooted saturday night proposal falls through? Certainly plenty of time to fit it in, and not much in the way of fixture clashes! As we have seen from some of this years results, everyone seems to enjoy coming to the Heath, especially those teams still in the fours!
Hawk127
If not the fours how about a real challenge, Ipswich versus Kings Lynn and then we would get an idea of the gap between PL and EL
jenga
there is not a gap of such. most el teams are made up of pl riders.. elite league.... money under false presences.. i take it you are outside the play off top 6 then..your home form let you dowm... lewy
I know alot of ipswich fans were glad when morton risager was released but I must say after a very slow start towards the business end of the season he has been outstanding good team man and very professional on and off track
Pob
I know alot of ipswich fans were glad when morton risager was released but I must say after a very slow start towards the business end of the season he has been outstanding good team man and very professional on and off track Maybe time away from foxhall has done him good . He was a one trick pony if he didn't gate . If you stayed on the inside race line he would never go round the outside so wouldn't pass.
lewy
I've seem him use the outside regularly at the sba but if he makes the gate he sticks to the inside and rarely gets passed

Exactly the reason we didn't make the play offs. With all due respect to those that came and beat us at Foxhall as I'm sure they'll think they were brilliant more than we were poor, but we lost home meetings to teams we should be beating every time at home, simple. I've seem him use the outside regularly at the sba but if he makes the gate he sticks to the inside and rarely gets passed I've seen Morten use the outside at Foxhall too, many many times. At Foxhall, some weeks the inside is the fastest way round so that would often be the line he used the most. But to say he only knows one line and never uses the outside line is a quote I've never agreed with to be honest. Risager is a good rider. Never going to be a number 1, but a good solid rider none the less.
