Super Blue
There might be an odd one here and there who don't want to guest for us , although Cookie loves Foxhall as he's proved time and time again . He'd earn plenty of money . I think it's more about whether our promotion wants to pay that kind of money out ! dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Been riders in past that have guested and had to cheer through gritted teeth!there are some that even that is too difficult to manage for!!I could manage to cheer for Cook though and Masters has been a welcome guest in the past. Gavan
Let's hope for Govan's sake that Ippo never choose Cookie to guest (or Smilin' Sam). He would be gutted having to cheer or applaud them. God you speak crap. I would as ive said before love a rider like Cook in my team and this year we have one in King. If Cook guests for us, even though he isnt liked at Ipswich, we would applaud him if he did well for us, we are not as fickle as Edinburgh fans. Masters is a class act on and off the track and would be much welcomed as a guest. There are many footballers i dont like but if they signed for my club i would applaud them if they did the job but still doesnt mean they are my favourite people Been riders in past that have guested and had to cheer through gritted teeth! spot on. If Cook guested and got anywhere from 12-15 we would applaud . If he scored 8 or so then he hasnt done his job and would quite rightly not be cheered

Baldyman
I don't mind cook.? Awsome rider around foxhall, and looking forward to watching him and Danny race around foxhall. I would also add that I think he may just have the beating of Danny around foxhall imo, not that I'm putting Danny down because he is awsome around foxhall to at this level
CardinalSin
Cook is indeed very good at Foxhall, but then again so is King as you say Baldy. Should be a good battle. Cook is guesting for Stead on Thursday at Sheffield and he seems to be their guest of choice. I was hoping maybe the would book him for next Monday at Foxhall to get an early taster of King V Cook but Edinburgh are also riding that day so that obviously won't happen. Wonder who Sheffield will book instead.

ZODIAK
From updates.. Nielsen fails to make the 2 minutes and is excluded. Nielsen will now go 15 metres back.Worrall from the gate and relatively untroubled. Nielsen's bike coughing and spluttering from the start and eventually gives up the ghost. Still having machinery problems it seems.
Super Blue
Well , an away defeat at Sheffield by 7pts achieved with 4 riders performing . They can certainly hold their heads up with pride ! Ritchie's form or lack of it ought to be becoming a major concern to the promotion by now , if it isn't it should be ! He not achieving anything , home or away and not beating many reserves either . I know that's his new position from 1st May and he's been injured but he really should be scoring alot better than he is , actually even a few points would be nice ! Rohan seems to be a real Jeckyl and Hyde rider , virtually unbeatable especially at home or shocking , nothing inbetween ! If either of them had got half their average we would have at least got a point or even won . When Gino returns he needs to hit the ground running as they say and not a have poor series of scores . We can't afford to be carrying passengers for too long .
TheSpecialOne
How many more meetings is Tungate going to cost the Witches? This guy is a fraud with his home form disguising his woeful away performances.
Baldyman
I would love to join in and give my opinions on tungate, but I've given them before, so no need to give them again. He reminds me a lot of Miskoviak though. And you can't blame tungate really, it's the Sheffield track staffs fault for not preparing the track to his liking. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
So near and yet so far - sums up last night and previous seasons. Are we again going to be a good looking team that always comes up just short when it matters??
Baldyman
well now nico will be in the main team that doesn't help us much, as I can't see Ritchie scoring anywhere what nico has been, and nico now only having 4 possibly 5 races instead of 6 or 7. And in reality it's mainly been the scoring from nico that has seen us score better on away tracks recently. I personally think we will flatter to deceive again this. Baldyman
can someone copy up or post a link to what Hilton has said in the paper today. Possibly a load of drivel, but it is normally A funny read.
ZODIAK
Hawkins' fitness isn't an issue, he said so himself in Thursday's Star that he's physically fine. It is a concern however that he admits he's struggling mentally. We can't let that continue much longer I'm afraid.
MrMungo
Hawkins' fitness isn't an issue, he said so himself in Thursday's Star that he's physically fine. It is a concern however that he admits he's struggling mentally. We can't let that continue much longer I'm afraid. Speedway is mentally tough. All it takes is a couple of good rides though, and the move to reserve will do him a power of good, of that I have no doubt. If he's still struggling after a few weeks at reserve, then maybe it's time to panic.
Baldyman
Looks like we need to hurry up and arrange our match with Plymouth whilst everyone is going there and winning. Looks like morten isn't exactly showing his normal Plymouth form
Super Blue
No doubt Morten will find his form against us though and Plymouth will probably have strengthened their team with some changes by then . Mind you , apart from the creditable draw at Somerset we've had our own issues away from home with some riders seriously underperforming.
