dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
In reality given the forecast all we need is a brolly!
Aries
Wells was definitely booked as I remember reading quotes from Louis saying they moved early to secure him. As Bruv says Doolan has started the season better than he has for a few seasons so doesn't look a bad choice. We had all this guest stuff last year with Ellis and now we've got to put up with it again this year with King and Nielsen. Others are also in the same boat so it's where we are in this day and age so we've gotta get on with it I suppose as frustrating as it is. 2ndbendbeerhut
So Berwick, Newcastle, Rye House, Scunthorpe, Workington are the PL teams not riding.... take your pick Belle Vue/ Wolves and Lakeside/ Kings Lynn are morning meetings so riders from those could be considered for the match at Peterborough. Means that Nielsen, R Lambert and Blackbird could ride in evening fixture. Edited March 30, 2015 by 2ndbendbeerhut
Shadders
I thought we had him also. Maybe he has had better offer from someone else, or maybe he just can't do it. As for doolan, I know there isn't much choice, but is that seriously the best we can get? I would have thought rider replacement would probably score more, only time will tell I would have thought rider replacement would probably score more, only time will tell Reports from Berwick say that Doolan is looking quick
Bandits4eva
Reports from Berwick say that Doolan is looking quick Indeed... 1 bad gate from him in Heat 15 on Saturday but otherwise majestic, that following an excellent meeting at Armadale. He's invested in his equipment this year and looks classy.
Pob
Thought Doolan did ok in the Billy Sanders meeting down here and did look alot quicker than i've seen him in the past
Baldyman
We will find out won't we, but I just think maybe rr will score more, and surely that's the name of the game. Would love him to score anything over 9 though just to prove me wrong.
Pob
How many times over last couple of seasons have teams come to Foxhall with a R/R in pace then lose another rider on the night and put even more pressure on the remaining riders . Didn't Sheffield last season or one before that end up with only being able to put 1 rider in some heats down here ? thats really not going to encourage people to come again to a speedway meeting. But then again you could have 6 riders flying and R/R score more than a guest tough call
ZODIAK
RIP Tich Read. I know there is a seperate thread on this forum mentioning his passing, but I thought I'd put this on the Ipswich thread. I don't want to have a pop at the "official" Ipswich website, just incase I've missed it. But I can't find a single mention of this former Witches favourite's passing? IF it isn't on there somewhere, then poor show.
Super Blue
At least Gino has no serious injury after his crash against the Devils last night ( according to a Mike Bacon tweet anyway) Apparently battered and bruised but nothing broken! Great to hear and i wish him well for a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back soon. All the best G-Man!
mdmc82
That's good to hear. Glad nothing is broken.
Super Blue
Do the new averages apply as of May 1st or after 4 home and 4 away meetings and do league cup matches even count ? Just wondering when Nico is likely to swap places with Ritchie with the way things are going .
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I think last night was our last before revised averages applicable from May 1st. Now last 20 matches from 2015 and 2014 only. So Stefan for example has no 2014 matches so will get a new average after 4 home 4 away although the regs allow the MC to apply his average from his 6 meetings so far from May 1st if they wish. Just wondering when Nico is likely to swap places with Ritchie with the way things are going .Nico has averaged 6.18 this year but does have 2014 meetings to include so not sure how his rolling 20 match figure is affected. All the stats have unfortunately disappeared from the BSPA site!! Edit Ritchie ended 2014 well and Gino tailed off. It could be Gino that drops - he will lose 8 possibly higher early season scores. Super Blue
Whoever drops to reserve should still leave us with a formidable bottom two pairing compared to certainly the majority of teams in the league . I suppose we'll find out come May 1st .

mdmc82
Doolan was super fast at Poole on Wed. Got a 5-1 in first heat over Josh.G and Holder on their own track. 😄

Baldyman
I know it's still early but am I right in thinking gino has to average over 7 this season or go back and finish top 4 in the USA?
