Badge
Either I'm a bit dense or I'm in 2014 team thread, because as far as I'm aware Somerset haven't declared 1 rider yet.......have they???

Baldyman
It can't be, I've been reading loads bout how good and exciting its going to be. It's a year wasted apparently if we don't win silverware.
25yearfan
Some say the same about Ipswich... I think the racing at Ipswich is better than King's Lynn which is one of the most over rated tracks in the Country nowadays!
Badge
Not offically...... Edit - has now (Josh G) Lol whole team declared now, with our ex Ritchie Worrall in!!!
Baldyman
Yet another cracking looking team built by Somerset, looking forward to their visit, and I somehow think they will do a lot better than they usually do. Looking for some inspiration in our last 2 signings, to make us look as good as the hype.
2ndbendbeerhut
Hope Chris Louis was at the AGM that stated all riders needing a visa were to be given a 7 ave and not a 5 as previously thought.......
cyclone
Hope Chris Louis was at the AGM that stated all riders needing a visa were to be given a 7 ave and not a 5 as previously thought....... If that is correct, does this mean if messrs J. Holder, Sissis, & J. Allen require visas, they will have a start GSA of 7.00 ? Hope Somerset, Sheffield, & Berwick were aware of this
2ndbendbeerhut
Thats correct, 7 is the new starting ave for a rider needing a visa to race. Seems that Somerset were aware of it but have chosen to ignore it! As for Sissis, believe he has dual nationality so would still be a 5..... Roland
Its a long shot...........perhaps CL knew Somerset were going to try Holder on 5? If they are forced to re-declare, their reserves fit and one or both may become available? And in that case why is Sissis on 5? Perhaps a smart move by us, debateable if he can ride to 5 let alone 7! 2ndbendbeerhut
More likely that ipswich were also after a new rider on a 5. That rider is now a 7 so back to the drawing board.....Sissis I believe has a Greek passport so can still be a 5. Baldyman
That would seem the most logical explanation as to why it's all gone quiet. So maybe it could end up with a u turn on Adam if he is still available. Probably a case of let's see what happens to Somerset first. Christopher Bcmma Cook
Personally I would have gone with 1. D.King (8.84) 2. M.Castagna (5.00)? 3. G.Manzares (6.02) 4. A.Sississ (5.00)? 5. R. Tungate (8.36) 6. A.Ellis (4.67) 7. M.Toft (4.92) Built for the future
Pob
8.63 Left to play with any thoughts people on there dream team paring at reserve ? Still hoping Louis does a u-turn on Adam Ellis and get him back .
Super Blue
So, slowly but surely quite a few of the better options for our last 2 are slowly being named in other teams. Why don't they just get it over with and name them? I certainly don't see any major new face riders coming on board with the assessed 7 reg in place and I hardly think the names will inspire loads of people to suddenly rush to get a season ticket! Are they just trying to delay the onslaught of negative reactions?
CardinalSin
Can we assume that plan A has well and truly gone Pete Tong? Wonder what plan we're on now? B, C or maybe even D! Simon Lambert looks Peterborough bound so another lower averaged rider to cross off the list. Baldyman
Must admit, glad of that one. Why doesn't someone just say, teams plans have changed and we will let you know as soon as we can.

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Or perhaps we are not affected - an EU rider with no professional league experience is a 5. Or has that changed as well?
