Ipswich 2015

Well last season we had a top 3 of Worrall, Tungate, Risager. Good back up from Gino

This season top 3 King, Tungate, Gino. Hoping Heeps can back them up scoring like Gino did last year.

Im aware we cant track the same riders but Worrall seemed to be getting dialled in and i just think we look weaker than last season.

Gino now stepping up into a heat leader role will be fine at home but we look very weak away from home.

We had a rider with potential in Adam at reserve that we have let go. This new rider needs to be sensational in my eyes.

Hate to be pessimistic but i think we look poor.

Just for example looked at Glasgow.

3 of their top 5 are Morris , Kozza and Berge and they can still fit in 2 8 pointers in there as well like Worrall and Risager for example. That top 5 would walk all over ours. Ok they have 2 three pointers at reserve but i can see Sarjeant adding to that.

As i look at other sides i worry about us

I feel the opposite TBH. I haven't seen anything from anyone else that frightens me so far, and if Summers and Lawson are the final two at Glasgow, they don't look all that either.

Morris hasn't kicked on from bursting on the scene a few seasons ago, if anything he's slightly gone backwards. Same with Kozza, I don't see an average increase in him either.

Remains to be seen what the others put together and I'm keeping an eye on Somerset as they always seem to put a tasty side together.

Personally I'm not sure what we will be like, very very hit and miss i think, a lot really will depend on our last 2. We are probably all expecting gino to improve a bit more, and heeps, but will heeps be able to get back to the season before last? A big year for heeps ahead in my opinion, the year that could decide if he is going to go on to be a world class rider, some other countries already have them at his age.

HeEpson and Gino are big confidence riders think that's pretty easy for everyone to see . When things are going well for them they both have a lot of speed. They both went opposite ways last season . Gino started with a bang and was flying at the start but as the long season wore on machine problems and falls really hit him and affected him to the point where he was maybe trying to hard and pushing himself and his bike just that bit too far . Heeps had a dreadful start think it was still getting over the injury to his wrist and didn't look right until his average dropped him down to reserve but full credit to him he knuckled down and cone end of the season was flying . Think these two could have a big say in how the witches go next next both have got talent and both on there day are thrilling to watch and excite the crowd with some never say day racing. A couple of the older heads at the club just have to put there arm around these two at times and give them the encouragement and a bit of common sense to explain sometimes just settle for that 3-3 in a heat at times and not over ride and make mistakes . It's not all about them there's 15 heats each meeting and a team sport . The witches need these two to be on there game and hit the ground flying as they have shown they both can potentially both could add a point to there average maybe more but then again as Heeps found out last year things can very quickly get to you and you end up dropping a whole pointhing.

I think that a heat leader trio of Morris , Summers, and Lawson with Kozza as second string is stronger than King Tungate Gino and Cam.

All about opinions though

Be interesting to see who young Adam rides for in 2015. Boro and Somerset would have been good for his career, possibly Sheffield, and it's a shame he cant be a Panther as he looks very impressive at the Showground. Still believe his omission from the 2015 team is a mistake, if indeed he was available...

Think the reason he cannot be a Panther is the very same reason he cannot go to Somerset?! (Or Edinburgh)
