CardinalSin
I think Adam has done well and is only going one way -onwards and upwards. Agree and he'd be one of the first on the team sheet for me. It's young talented riders like Ellis with obvious potential to improve that we need to keep hold of. If Chris Louis doesn't keep him on he wants his head testing.
Baldyman
Well we will soon find out if Louis needs head testing.

BluPanther
or if Adam feels a fresh challenge would be better for him. Looks very good at the Showground, but if he goes with Lakeside again he wont be a Panther. An absolute no brainer for me that he lines up again as a Witch in 2015. Could easily add two points on his average next year imo..

British speedway needs a few more like him.

Ipswich Heathen
There is a lot of talk about being mad and needing heads tested, however unfortunately the riders we are talking about are actually not our riders so signing them may not be entirely in our hands. I for one would like to se Worrall back, but having signed King on 8.84 it will be very difficult to have everyone that we want as we only have 42.5 points limit, having already needing to lose 1.88 from the 2014 side. I would also expect to see Manzares (6.02) here, so straight away it leaves 1 if not 2 witches assets (Risager / Tungate) being left out. Team building is all about finding those riders that will improve significantly such as a 3.00 rider averaging 6.00 or a 5.00 rider averaging 7.5 (e.g. Steve Worrall 3.00 to nearly 8.00) . Having a 42.5 team riding like a 42.5 team will only end up mid table and win nothing.
TheScotsman
he could be 2015s 'Steve Worrall' Stevie started the season on a sub 3 point average rounded up to 3. Ellis is nearly 2 points up on Stevie's so not quite a valid comparison!!

Even so , it would be a young British rider making strides , which we should all welcome
Baldyman
Steve Worrall had such a jump in average, it would be hard to follow. Let's hope he manages to get a team place this year and doesn't miss out after improving so much.
TheScotsman
Not disputing any of that. Just that Ellis would need to hit over 9 next year to match Stevie's improvement. I'm sure if he stays on the bike a bit more (seemed to have at least 1 off every time I've seen him) and changes tracks then he will improve. Would be good to see him at Peterborough (or even the Dale) but that would mean leaving Lakeside.

Cant argue with the over riding / falling needing to be eradicated but thats what learning is about.
Baldyman
I definitely think Adam is going to have a big year next season.
CardinalSin
I definitely think Adam is going to have a big year next season. I agree and fingers crossed its with us. Heeps is another young gun I'm expecting better things from after his injury and confidence issues this year. Both these two MUST be in the team.
Baldyman
Well I thought there were 4 musts after last season, Adam Cameron gino and Worrall. And I'm hoping I'm still right, and if they all want to race for us again, Louis would be daft not to include them all.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
There has to be at least one more new face for the numbers to fit.
Arch Stanton
There has to be at least one more new face for the numbers to fit. Arthur Sissis? Been getting rides at Foxhall this year (as well as elsewhere I know), very good mates with Heeps and has been golfing with both Heeps and Manzares the last couple of months.. Probably means absolutely nothing but there's similarities with Tungate the year we signed him so who knows.
Baldyman
Could he live up to a 5 average? I didn't see him do any practice laps.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Looked very ropey at Foxhall but I think they were his first laps on a speedway bike for years. Not sure how his other practice went. Must be some meetings in Oz soon. If he is seriously giving it a go would have thought he was taking every possible opportunity. No news on the international section????
