Starman2006
There are plenty of ice rinks etc that they could use just lay a tempory track use the venue on a regular basis. No rain indoors. Problem solved. Why havn't the BPSA come up with this very simple solution, to all the rain off problem. I am sure that some ice rink somewhere in the British Isles, would love to earn a few extra bob. For the use of thier stadium for a few days in October and run all the leagues plays off semi,s and fimals there. How come the PL and NL are not having the same problems wit rained off play off as the EL league are or are they just made of stronger stuff than the EL riders Perhaps they've just been lucky and avoided it. Which i would say is right.. As for your first point, that will cost Money..

TesarRacing
Tell I'm getting old... as I wonder, will I live to see my grandkids born, a cure for cancer... and the conclusion of the 2014 speedway Play-Offs.  And just who did dig that hole at Poole?     I got told Starman was involved   Nope, nothing to do with me.  Starman wouldn't know which end of the spade to use!!!
mdmc82
Something will have to be decided soon as rain forecast for most of next week as well. Weather so far is meant to be Good Friday in Coventry so would be silly to cancel it when wet all next week.

mickthemuppet
What if the play off finals do not get held The Bookmakers would have to return all bets placed throughout the season as there would be no winner

foreverblue
the forecast looks like its improving but will deteriote again so if we can get 10 heats in on wednesday that would be the best solution, thursday looks bad again and friday looks good for coventry.
Gavan
Sort of finding the end of season a bit farcical to be honest. Â As much as i despise the Poole management and some of their quite idiotic fans, the fact remains that they 'won' the league. Â To now see the possibility of the second leg run at a neutral venue or decided by the toss of the coin is a joke
stevebrum
You need banning pal, you really do have a problem. Â Pot, kettle. Â Â Early days (Sun) but the forecast is for very unsettled weather for midweek. Forecasts are more reliable 24hrs ahead but likely to see rain and thunderstorms on Weds afternoon. Â Will be interesting to see how this pans out. Â I am assuming the covers are already down with such unpredictable weather predicted?? Starman2006
Â Pot, kettle. Â Â Â I am assuming the covers are already down with such unpredictable weather predicted?? its been pissing down here for the last 24 hrs, you cannot put covers on a wet track. Even you should know that. And before you say anything, the track was still sodden on friday. What if the play off finals do not get held The Bookmakers would have to return all bets placed throughout the season as there would be no winner More than likely, they would be void. BROCK
Â Pot, kettle. Â Â Â I am assuming the covers are already down with such unpredictable weather predicted?? You are obsessed with them that's all you seem to bleat about. If the covers are put down on a sodden track all it would do is sweat and make it just as bad. The rain would run down the top of the covers and puddle against the inside line and back up under the covers, but of course you would know this being a track expert,

But don't expect Brum to understand that.

I guess you must be involved with the track preparation seeing as you are so informed and know how the track is looking on a daily basis. Or probably just assuming i would imagine. If track cover WERE put down when track had dried there would be a great chance Wednesday would go ahead. Then it takes a level of understanding to work out that when the track has had chance to dry since Wednesday that covers going down would help. You are obviously much more of an expert and have some kind of track knowledge to know just how the Poole track has been looking on a daily basis since the 2nd call off. Pictures would help too, i`m sure you have them.
alfiemorris
Perhaps Sky know more than they're letting on? Wednesday 7.30pm was showing the 2nd leg. Not now though, and nothing yet for next Monday either? What IS going on?

Don't know if this would make any difference? This wed 15th the second semi is scheduled but is not being shown on sky. But looking at the weather forecast the meeting is unlikely to happen on that day. Sky are scheduled to show the final next mon 20th and wed 22nd, providing the semi has been sorted out by then.
